Services
The history of App's Restaurant began in 1942, on Beach Street at Savin Rock, when our grandparents Frederick and Susan Apicella opened their doors in West Haven. For many years they served Pizza and recipes of "old school simple food" always prepared by hand in a casual Savin Rock neighborhood, welcoming diners, until West Haven Redevelopment forced them to close.

Had the pleasure of dinner there Monday night. Everything was outstanding. The server was so pleasant. Everything was delicious, cooked like we wanted it . Portions were better than before on soup. I just don’t understand why an Italian Restaurant doesn’t serve angle hair with their food. Would order to go & eat there more if they did.

Visited a while back ago for my brothers birthday, the place was awesome and the staff was very friendly, well all except one woman who i believe was named Stephany. She was extremely unprofessional and yelled obscenities' at someone who was there to pick up food in front of all the customers. That was the most displeasing part of my families night there. 2 stars.

Best steak I had in a very long time. When I went the restaurant was packed and my server Justin had a lot of other tables to attend to and still gave me the best service we had in a long time. My wife ordered a sparkling wine and he went out of his way and added strawberries in the drink. My wife loved it. Its very few times we get great food and service when we go out this time we got both. Cant wait until Friday.
