Services
Pam Manser & Associates, originally Lake Norman Communication Services, Inc., was established by Pam Manser in 1997 and became incorporated in 2003. We are a group of speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, and SLP-assistants. With a family-centered and team-oriented approach to patient care, we provide comprehensive speech and occupational therapy services for the pediatric through geriatric population.
Our group of dedicated professionals are linked in providing the best possible care to our clients. The occupational and physical therapy skills that develop within properly functioning vestibular and proprioceptive systems relate directly to speech and language functioning in many ways, including fine motor movements, motor coordination and planning, auditory processing of sound, postural control, body alignment, and breath support.
A speech-language pathologist provides life-changing treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, cognition, feeding, and swallowing. Occupational therapists work with children, adolescents, their families and caregivers, teachers and outside agencies to promote independence in both occupations and activities that are meaningful to them through a habilitative or rehabilitative process.
Intervention for speech sound disorders consists of the assessment and treatment of disorders including apraxia, dysarthria, articulation, phonology, stuttering, and voice. A language disorder refers to a difficulty understanding or putting words together to communicate ideas. Cognitive therapy may be appropriate for children with ADHD, traumatic brain injury, concussion, and other neurological disorders.
Occupational therapy practitioners work with children and adolescents, their families and caregivers, teachers and outside agencies to promote independence in both occupations and activities that are meaningful to them through a habilitative or rehabilitative process.
Recommended interventions are grounded in the therapist's understanding of typical development, the impact of the disability or illness, the environment in which the child engages in and the impairment of the child's development, learning, play and performance in their daily tasks across all environments. The primary occupations of both infants and toddlers are learning, playing and interacting with caregivers/peers.

I worked in the instructional services side of Pam Manser Speech and was BLOWN away with how attentive the staff was and how involved Pam was. She was at the office everyday I was there. I constantly heard little kid laughter, games being played, and parent has a 1:1 follow up after each session. It felt like a family there. The pathologists there were top notch and Pam makes sure to take great care of her staff. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been trying to set up an appointment and either no one gets back to me when I’m able to reach someone, or the phone rings and rings and never goes to an answering service to make a voicemail.
Update- called again and after letting it ring for 2 minutes a woman answered and “transferred” me and continued to ring and ring and ring until I hung up. Horrible customer service.

Best speech pathology services you will ever receive! We have been through numerous people, and finally found Pam Manser, who fit our needs and expectations. Miss. Ginny (as my daughter calls her) is by far the BEST! She does so well with my girls, I couldn't imagine anyone else teaching them throughout their developmental stages. We LOVE her! If you want to be treated like you and your children matter, I suggest you receive services here. Thank you (especially Ginny) for all you do for my girls. You are appreciated!
