Services
Middletown Montessori School provides toddler through kindergarten education, in an environment which fosters the love of learning by stimulating a child's natural curiosity to discover the world around them. We blend academic excellence, intellectual independence and moral principals in the Montessori tradition.
Middletown Montessori offers a variety of programs catered to a child's age group and specific developmental needs. Part of the Montessori Philosophy is the idea of a mixed aged/ungraded classrooms and that is why our classrooms overlap. Children work in small groups or individually in the classroom.
Our curriculum is designed to give a child the freedom and responsibility to choose work in a prepared environment, fostering independence and self-motivation. The classroom and materials are carefully prepared to awaken the 5 senses, tapping into a child's natural curiosity to promote a love for learning.

As a first school experience for my child, this is the perfect environment! The teachers are nurturing and kind and sweet. They're articulate, and communicative. They're supportive and they challenge my child without pushing her too hard. The other families seem very solid. It took my daughter forever to adjust to being here (separation anxiety...), and even longer to accept the fact that we couldn't go anymore (summer...). We can't wait for September!
