Dr Hawkins has done wonders for me. He is professional and very caring. He has a very caring staff also. They are always eager to assist in any matter needed. He has taken my dark days and made them bright and productive. I can't praise him and his staff enough. I'm hoping if you need psychiatric services you reach out to him.

I suffer from Bi-Polar Depression. Dr. Hawkins and his staff of greatness has helped me create a goal and stay focused. This in itself helps control the anxiety,depression, and along with the right medications I’m able to be myself keep a job I even own my own company.

Do I still get panic attacks? Of course! But they are by far so few I couldn’t say when the last time was that I had one.

Update: They moved to Mansfield but didn't tell me until telehealth appointment. Thank God they didn't make me drive there for my labs. They will be there for two months and then move back to someplace in Arlington, but if you use the pharmacy that's in the same building, she's going to move to Plano.

I have not been able to get my daily medication refilled when I ran out twice now because they said I needed to make some kind of appointment that they never told me about until after I was already out of my medicine. I called Friday and they said they would call me back about making an appointment and never did. So I am having to go without important medication for several days over the weekend plus however long it will take to get an appointment. Extremely poor communication and I’m not even sure what I need to do differently in order to plan ahead for things like this. Edit: raising my review

This office is absolutely terrible. I used to see Dr. Hawkins many years ago before he went to a larger office and delegated his patients to his employees. Since he moved and started trying to brand his own products he no longer is available to most patients. No matter how many times I call I can hardly ever reach anyone. Their mailbox is constantly full so you cannot even leave a message. My husband was referred to a specialist for a test several months ago and Dr. Hawkins still has not gotten back to him about the results. Every time we call we are told that no results are available.

The doctor's ask you what you want to be on, offer no advise, or clarification. Instead they ask you to do research on it. They never answer the phone, and their voicemail box is never cleared so god forbid you have any symptoms or withdraws. I have had two appointments to change medicine and they have switched my doctors and still haven't sent me a copy of my lab results. Such a bad experience I hope everyone takes my advice and go anywhere else.

Whomever the doctor that is assisting patients is insensitive, not welcoming and rude. I havent been able to get my FMLA papers updated because they need to see me for 3 consecutive months. I was scheduled an appointment, but they never called nor emailed for my appointment or to reschedule. I must admit the front desk people are a lot friendlier than the rude women last year but they still have a long way to go. I would not recommend at all.

Oh how I wished I would have read all of these negative reviews beforehand because I think I just gave away four hundred dollars. On top of that, I was told that Dr. Hawkins is not seeing clients. He was the main reason I was referred to Hawkins Psychiatry. Maybe this was a good clinic a few years ago, but now it is watered down. I need to go back to the person who referred me and tell her she was wrong and to please not fool anyone else. People are desperate for quality mental health care. No one deserves to get their hopes up just to be disappointed.
