They worked with us on every aspect of planning, and even helped with some non-catering details like the table linens. The food was amazing (I heard people say it was the best wedding food they've ever had) and the prices were very reasonable. They left the venue clean and organized, and then catered a beautiful brunch the next day.

Services
The Verba family has been in the food service business for over 75 years, starting it all on the near-west side of Cleveland with Verba's Cafe. John or "Jack" Verba and his wife Marie ran this local corner family bar with pride and confidence, serving unique wild game, and "from scratch" cooking. John's son, Joe Verba opened his own catering venue in Lakewood, Ohio, serving traditional Carpatho-Rusyn cuisine.
Carryout orders must be placed no less than 72 hours in advance. A minimum of 25 guests is required for each carryout option. We offer an array of options to accommodate both private and corporate functions. Carry out orders may be picked up at Woodside Event Center: 5025 Mill Rd, Broadview Hts., OH 44147 or Catering by Verba's would be happy to drop off at your location for a $30.00 delivery charge.

Catering by Verba's catered our wedding and it was phenomenal! They went above and beyond with our wedding set up and provided professional service and the food was amazing. We are beyond grateful for their work to make our special day even better.
We have also had them cater other events such as funeral receptions and even more recently, Thanksgiving dinner! Highly recommended for any event that you may need catered and what a better way to support small business!

Today I ordered curbside pickup from Catering by Verba's at Woodside in Broadview Heights. When I arrived the signage was easy to follow with directions to stay in my car. My meal was promptly brought to my car and social distancing was maintained at all times and employees did were face masks properly.

Verba's Catering catered our family events throughout 2020 not including the takeout dinners we bought! Our Christmas Eve gathering, while smaller than normal, was delicious and plentiful! The guests were clamoring to take leftovers. We plan to use them for all of our catering needs in 2021 and beyond!! Thank you Joe, Joey, Nate, Tani and Joanie!

We ordered Curbside Carryout last week. Absolutely delicious! Loved the Chicken Paprikash, Breaded Pork Schnitzel, and Eggplant Parmesan. The meals came complete with roll/butter and a salad. We found the price to be very reasonable. You can also order desserts and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). We were so impressed, we're ordering again this week! Thank you, Verba's for a delicious meal!

My significant other of 10 years and I were finally ready to tie the knot and when we found the Verba's we were very pleased to find they had a place for us not only to have our reception fully catered by them but a room at the same facility to hold our ceremony we were quite thrilled. We were invited several weeks before our big day to a tasting of menu selections which was great. The day of our event Mrs.Verba was there to oversee the whole affair and her and her staff stayed on top of everything, the food was awesome and the room looked great, this was a very happy day for my friends and family

We had our 9/10/2016 wedding reception at St. Elias Cultural Center. Joan and her husband are SO knowledgeable. They helped ensure our reception went perfectly for us and for our guests. I asked a lot of… questions and expected a lot and Joan was able to handle it all with ease. We got so many rave reviews on the food. My daughter's baby shower was held at St. Elias Hall (beautiful facility) on April 14th.
The table presentation of a variety of pastel napkins in the coffee cups gave the entire hall a festive appearance. The best part of the shower was the wonderful food. I cannot tell you how many of our guests RAVED about the food. It was a sit down luncheon for 70.
