The staff and students from Hollyview Youth Group decided it was important to provide Community Service to the Good News Community Health Center. They prepared the soil. We are a non-profit faith- and community-based health center serving our neighbors in Rockwood and East Multnomah County. Simple people with a heritage of faith and vision, living out a vibrant mission, sharing a powerful message of hope and healing.
We're here for the community, whether someone needs primary care at our clinic or a vaccine to go to the other side of the world. Our donors keep our lights on, our volunteers make us relevant, our patients give us purpose, and our prayer team sustains us. Provide excellent physical, mental, and spiritual care to the underserved with the love of Christ.

Services
In 2006, Dr. Bob Sayson and his wife, Alice, were exploring opportunities to serve overseas as permanent medical missionaries. Dr. Bob's medical work had led him all around the world: from the mountains of Pakistan to rural villages in Africa to the jungles of the Philippines, and his heart was to use his medical gifts to bring healing to the most vulnerable.
Looking for compassionate, professional healthcare? We offer primary care, diabetes education, foot care, and mental health counseling at our Rockwood-based clinic. We're here for you. We encourage you to come into clinic during our hours of operation to receive an application. We will see anyone regardless of ability to pay.
Mini Clinics provide free healthcare, nail care, hair care, foot care, resource navigation, and a clothes closet for Gresham's most vulnerable neighbors. Mini Clinics occur at Trinity Lutheran Church, Gresham, OR one Sunday per month from October to March. Please see the schedule for specific dates.
Ilya and Tracy volunteer with Compassion Clinics where they provide free dental cleanings at Saturday clinics across the metro area. Seeing the vast need for oral care in our city, they reached out to Good News Community Health Center concerning their vision to create a permanent space where dental providers could serve the community regularly.
Since our founding, we have witnessed extraordinary transformation in the lives of our neighbors, brought about by a powerful God using ordinary people who care deeply for their community. There are many ways to get involved in the work at Good News! At Good News, prayer is not merely a sentiment, but a fundamental way in which we minister to our staff, our patients, and our community.

Came here a few years ago and was misdiagnosed with hypothyroidism was put on medication for it. Took it for about 8 months. Ended up getting insurance and going to kaiser then Legacy they both told me I didn't have hypothyroidism. My Mom was also diagnosed with diabetes here and told her to go somewhere else. She did and they didn't find anything.....

The doctors and staff worked tirelessly to get my son's bloodwork done so he could get into a Christian recovery ministry (The Mission House in Port Orchard, Washington).
He was homeless, addicted and with no ID. He came against wall after wall using state health centers. The doctor prayed with my son, encouraged him and even came in on a Saturday to read give him results. They were a huge blessing when my son was losing hope. This is the true meaning of the love to hurting people. God bless you all.

Don't get me wrong, the over all experience was very rewarding. I came in with complete honesty and I got shot down. I won't going to details it's just that I thought there would be more compassion and understanding. When I walked out I was completely consumed with this feeling of being lost and no one cared.

Good afternoon and God Bless,
Dr Bob, I just want to cover a few things regarding our last visit. Im really confused by the outcome.
1. I thought you were going to treat me for my UTI. There was no prescription for that.
2. I thought we agreed on taking of the two days a week I dont work. I dont have two days in a row off and as Ive mentioned my job is very physical and I have a lot of work on my days off. you prescribed me 82 which is a bit less then 3 a day . i thought we agreed on 120 a month for 4 a day.
3. when I mentioned that i was in severe pain with my neuropathy I thought we agreed
