Manicure includes nail trim, shape, buff, cuticle grooming, lotion, massage, hot towel and then finished with polish. Includes basic manicure, followed by sea salt, sugar scrub, moisturize with the richest emollient lotion. Also known as "No Chip Manicure". Which includes basic manicure and finished with pre-selected gel polish.
Our Salon is the perfect place to host a bridal shower, birthday celebration, bachelorette/bachelor party, corporate event or a just a get-together for friends, family, and co-workers. I went to this place and i had this lady this is what i wanted she said 90-80 dollars and i said no but i still wanted stickers so she said 75 i said 75 for what she said sticker and no chip i said i dont want no chip they told me the stickers will peel but thats not true all you need to do is put a top coat because even with its still peeling so i said whatever and got it i showed the lady the length and she cut under and kept cutting them shorter after she did the whole hand i wasnt gonna tell her do it all over again also you could tell she was rushing like it was the last thing she wanted

I'm from out of town visiting family for the holidays and I was recommended this salon. I showed my nail design inspiration and we were able to replicate it perfectly! They also were giving customers free gifts since it was a couple days before Christmas which I thought was a thoughtful touch. Will definitely come again next time I'm in the area!

Nail Essence is really such a welcoming shop to visit. Everyone makes you feel so welcome each time you come in. The decor is fabulous and the services are really affordable. I have never had one bad experience from Nail Essence and they really listen and pay attention to detail. I feel like a brand new person every time I leave. I have been a loyal customer for the last 4 years and will never go elsewhere! Thank you to Matthew and Kim for running such an amazing business!!!

Mathews response speaks volumes for the type of owner he is. I knew you were going to blast me?!?!? Yes we were happy with the color and design. We had no idea they would start popping off like press on nails. Also you did not work on her from start to finish. The other gentlemen glued them on. You were no where near us yet you say you can guarantee they were down correctly. Funny when we came back for the repair he dremeled and made sure to smooth out the nail bed. This was not done the first time.

My wife has been a patron of Nail Essence since we arrived in Morton Grove five years ago. This was my second visit, for a pedicure, and I was very impressed. The comfortable massage chairs, the foot Jacuzzi, the polite and very professional technician made the entire experience well worth my time and the more than fair fee. I'll definitely be back!

I was in town for my brother's wedding and had a dip manicure (second photo) from another place in the area with my mom. The photo speaks for itself, I was extremely dissatisfied with the work and the salon refused to make any changes for myself or my mom. We paid and left the salon. Always leaving nail essence happy! Matthew normally does my nails and he never fails to make it look amazing. This here was done by Henry who is as good as well. They don't rush and they take their time. Also their attention to details and working with what their clients want and giving their recommendations make their work a success. Also, their other nail techs are great as well. Definitely recommend them and they are officially my nail salon home.

Don't go here for dip manicures.
Not sure how this place got good reviews. I went in on Tuesday for a dip manicure and the color is chipping off 4 days later. The lady who also did my nails had horrible communication skills and I don't think she knew how to do a dip manicure because she looked confused at each step. She also pushed for another service which I refused because it wouldn't make my nails round (whatever that means). Please keep in mind, I have dip manicures performed regularly and this will be the only time going here. End result = 3 chipped nails and a dull one.

I live in Orland Park (about an hour away) but work in Morton Grove and came here last minute because my nail salon back in Orland canceled on me.
Every customer that walked through his door, Matthew knew them by first name and remembers small details about their lives as well. I instantly saw what a personable man and business owner he is. 😊
I told him how I was a new customer and he said “Don’t worry, we take care of you here” and he sure did! Even on my days off, I will be making the commute from Orland Park to see Matthew and his staff at Nail Essence. Great work and service!

Nail Essence is AMAZING! I recently brought my bridal party for our wedding mani/pedis and they were fantastic! They closed the salon for us for 3 hours and allowed us to have a little party while we got pampered. Every staff member was so professional and they did exactly what we all wanted! Kim did my bridal nails, and I asked for a very specific design and she did an incredible job. Matthew, the owner, worked with us to make sure we were well taken care and satisfied. I would definitely recommend this salon for any services you need!

This was my first time here and I'm super happy with my experience. I'll be attending a wedding this coming weekend and I was looking for a place to get my nails done. I found this place based on Yelp reviews and I have to say, this place is a hidden gem in the suburbs. I came in to make an appointment on Tuesday afternoon and Matthew was able to fit me in on Wednesday morning. The customer service is great! They were very kind to me and so welcoming to every customer that walked through the door. You can tell they make an effort to remember everyone's names.

This place is a hidden gem. They have a clean and well organized nail salon. You check in on a tablet which confirms your appointment and rewards. Many selections of no chip and dip manicure colors to choose from. I got a dip manicure and it lasted 3 weeks. The layers of dip powder were done nicely with smooth edges and each nail looked uniformed. Would definitely go back soon!

To be honest I don’t usually write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for other potential customers. I am not a regular at nail essence, so maybe that played a role in the experience I had. Either way, I don’t really appreciate the way I was treated as a new customer. I had made an appointment a week in advance to get my nails done, the day of my appointment and an hour before I get a call to move my appointment 30 minutes after my schedule time. Usually if I had nothing to do, easy no problem I’ll come in 30 minutes later but I had a meeting right after the time I had asked for. When

Like always Matthew slaying my nails. We had different ideas of my nails, but he made it happen even tho he don't carry the straight tape shape nail he created it! Always making sure i go hone happy. Also my pedi was on point. We did a ombré style nails on which you can pick out the color of the bottom and white on top it looks very nice with the length and you can match all your clothes and looks.

Great staff and very clean. So much of a selection for whatever type of service you want. My 1st time going gel nails, very happy. I'm not that careful with my nails, my manicure lasted a very long time, 2 weeks+.
Owners are very personable and always know their clients. Warm & welcoming...can't beat their selection.

Love this place! There is plenty of parking behind the building in which nail salon is located. You may find parking on a side street as well. All the workers are happy to accommodate customers even without appointment, however I would recommend making one to ensure that you will get all of the services required by a specific time that fits your personal schedule. You might not be sure about the exact color or style that would look good on you, don’t worry about it because they’ll be happy to figure that out with you and also give you suggestions on something new that you’ll absolutely love
