At Paso Acupuncture & Wellness Center, we aim to bring the body and mind back to its natural state of alignment: healthy, strong, and tranquil. Our approach to sickness, disease, and pain is a holistic one, focused on treating the whole person, rather than chasing individual symptoms. After all, humans are more than a sum of their parts that uniformly respond to a set of instructions.

We recognize that everyone is unique. Therefore, treatment at Paso Acupuncture involves giving each patient a tailored and personalized healing experience. We are experts at making your acupuncture experience safe, comfortable, and effective! All to often we are living with marginal health and a depressed spirit.

Jennefer Radojevic, L.Ac., MSTOM, is a native Chicagoan who first discovered the remarkable benefits of acupuncture while living in Tokyo, Japan.

Realizing that this was her calling, she enrolled in a rigorous four year Chinese medical school program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, while also completing extensive externships at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY and Grand Meridian Acupuncture Clinic in the heart of Chinatown.
Originating in China, acupuncture has been successfully used for over 3,000 years, making it one of the oldest medical systems on the planet. It involves inserting fine (about the girth of a human hair), sterile needles at various depths into specific points found along the body's energetic pathways.
Chinese herbal formulas are often given in conjunction with acupuncture treatment to prolong or enhance treatment results. The beliefs behind the benefits of herbal medicine stems from their ability to utilize the body's natural healing process and therefore treating the disease at its root. Individual herbs are combined (and in rare cases, used alone) to create custom formulas aimed at an individuals unique set of symptoms.
It's a common misconception that acupuncture will hurt, which often prevents people from getting the treatment they need. While every experience is different, acupuncture generally produces very little discomfort or pain. Even those with severe "needle phobia" tend to have a very positive experience.
Paso Acupuncture does not bill insurance at this time. If your insurance plan covers acupuncture (which some do), we will provide you with an itemized and properly coded receipt (called a "superbill") at the end of each office visit or after a series of treatments. You can submit the superbill to your provider and they will reimburse you directly.
