I missed class at my regular studio and saw that Ember Hot Yoga has a class I could make with an instructor I was familiar with. Laura at the front desk was lovely and helpful. The studio smelled lovely. The Ladies Room was spacious and as lovely as a spa. Nothing to want: plastic bags for damp clothes, shampoo, conditioner and body wash - even a scale. I ended up signing up or an unlimited monthly subscription. It's been awesome!

I came in for a trial with Class Pass and had probably one of the worst experiences ever.
I've been to many yoga studios and never had this kind of experience. The instructor, Shelby, was very rude and made the environment of the class very uncomfortable for beginners. I wish I could give this place 0 stars - that's how shockingly bad her instruction was. She kept calling me out every time I slightly moved (I was new to the practice and needed to take breaks and was feeling very light headed). She encouraged breaks at first but every time I would actually take one, she would single

What a great experience! The 11 am class on 10/2 was awesome. Great workout for multiple levels, especially for beginner like me. But there were clearly advanced folks in the class who were enjoying it too! Front desk staff was particularly friendly and greeted me with a huge smile, and bid me farewell with huge smile. Can't say enough about Ember Hot Yoga :)

My friend and I decided to try this place a while ago, and we absolutely loved it. We love that we can use our college ID to get a student discount of $12/class. The Hot classes really offer a great workout, and the instructors are fantastic. The showers and locker room are VERY clean and luxurious also

Don't go to this place, yogies. Because if you feel light headed during a class , you have to stay in the rooms and get fainted or get thrown out. It doesn't matter if you are good loyal paid customer.
I wish I could give them a zero. This place is ruined by a instructor name shelby. She is so rude and doesn't know about yoga. I have been to several hot yoga studio and I never been thrown out of a class. I was attending a 9:30 hot sequence yoga taught by Shelby. In the middle of class, I felt very tired and light headed so I stepped out to get some cool air. After about 30 seconds

I took the hot vinyasa yoga class today at 8:30, and it was great! The energy filled the place even before the class started. Britt was amazing as she led with her own joy and energy. Even the music was tops. I loved how she steadily mixed poses I knew and added new ones with clear direction and example. She was encouraging throughout the class, yet also verbalized the instruction to listen to our bodies if ever there was a painful pose. I loved the whole class and definitely will try to take it again.

The signature hot sequence feels amazing and is so incredibly detoxifying.
Hot vinyasa classes are always fun and never the same, so it keeps you guessing. Instructors are skilled, and each one has a particular style which is great and refreshing as it shows in the vinyasa classes that they teach.
Only downside is price and commitment fee. It's more than a monthly gym membership for unlimited and there is a three-month commitment for it.

First off let me say that I have NEVER taken a class here, I've never even entered the building until this morning.
My sweet husband bought me a Groupon for the special they have, one month unlimited. I was super excited to use it, being organized by nature, i went on the website, registered as a new customer, chose a class and thought I put my name down in the class, like getting in line ahead of time, got there at least 20 minutes early so I could ask questions, look around and familiarize myself with the surroundings.
That's when my highly desired stress free morning turned into

Truly one of the gems of downtown Woodstock. Beautiful studio and boutique with one long mirrored room for hot classes and a smaller room for room temperature classes. Both studios have high ceilings, great lighting, and sound systems. Ember has several classes every day and each of the instructors I have practiced with here has been excellent. With so many classes, there is something for everyone. Whether you are looking for stretching, strength, cardio, meditation, or some combination thereof, that is the beauty of offering so many different classes to which each teacher brings their own style

Bought a Groupon for Ember. My 1st time here was amazing. The studio is absolutely beautiful. They offer a range of classes for every skill level. Hot sequence is my favorite. This is the first time I've been in a hot room and it didn't reek of b.o. The lighting, floors, decor, smells, ambiance all contribute to a fabulous peaceful experience. The parking is a bit aggravating, so come very early to find a decent spot. Their changing rooms and bathrooms are tastefully spa like.
I look forward to many more classes here.

Ember has such a welcoming environment and the instructors take time to help your yoga practice during and after class. They have discounts for students and the unlimited class option is excellent for any avid yogis! Recently, they've added humidifiers in the studio for use during hot sessions which will make you sweat even more!

I have been practicing yoga for about eight years, much of that time in San Francisco, where I went to some truly top-notch studios. Devin's Ashtanga class is one of the best I have ever taken. Vigorous, yet meditative. He also plays music (from Bon Iver to Pink Floyd), reads out Hafiz and Rilke, and gives self-help advice--all of which should be annoying, but isn't. The studio itself is gorgeous, even a little bourgeois, with a spa-like bathroom and paper lanterns and ludicrously expensive yoga clothes. I'm not complaining though. if you can't afford the $17 drop-in fee, just

I Love Ember.
It is amazing the things that your body can do in hot yoga.
My first class there the instructor explained the pose we were about to do and I thought "No way am I going to be able to do that!" but I followed the step by step instructions and next thing I knew there I was in a pose I still find amazing that I was able to reach.
We visit a few times a year and find it a great supplement to our home practice.
My husband has back issues and when he lets the instructors know they are always so helpful at modifying the pose for him and even helping him to hold the correct posture

Ok so this place is awesome.
You walk in and the modern design is breathtaking. It's almost Zen buddhist in many ways. The front desk is always happy and helpful.
Jeff is a great yogi. Positive and helpful.
They offer a wide variety of classes. Give it a shot. If you are in downtown ATL drive to woodstock it's worth the trip.
I wish they had one in my city!
