Almost 31 years ago Georgienne Stoker and her two eldest sons, Mark & Craig Stoker investigated the benefits and challenges to starting a family business, a home healthcare agency. Then in the summer of 1988 we opened the doors and Care Team was founded.
It is Care Team's desire to establish and maintain the highest level of quality in our home healthcare services while meeting the ever-changing needs of our local communities. The mission is achievable by challenging our employees to be the best they can be and by reinforcing the belief that they, as individuals and working as a team, can make a difference.
Care Team has Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses available to assist with all of your skilled nursing needs. We will always send a Registered Nurse out to admit all skilled patients either before or at start of care.
Once the patient is admitted, we will provide all follow-up skilled services by either a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurses, depending on the level and complexity of care and the experience and availability of the nurse(s).Some of our skilled patients additionally receive non-skilled home care services performed by a Home Health Aide.

We currently have two offices; one in Leesburg serving Ocala, The Villages, and surrounding communities in Marion, Sumter, Lake, Citrus and Hernando counties, and one in Tampa serving the Tampa Bay Metropolitan Area. Care Team was a life saver for our parents. They provided reliable top-notch medication management and health care support services in home for both mom and dad for several years before we moved them to an assisted living facility, Their staff was always friendly, responsive, and kept us informed on any issues. I loved that they coordinated directly with the doctors and pharmacies for prescriptions and appointments. Most of all, they genuinely cared and built long-term relationships with my parents and our family. I highly recommend them!
