The Bridges is an assisted living community that offers an innovative and exciting approach to carefree living during your retirement years. We offer the comforts of home, along with services and amenities that are designed expressly to meet the needs and interests of active seniors who require daily assistance.
Our services will help maximize your enjoyment of everyday activities. As imagined it was an adjustment for Mom, but she is now is involved with chair dance, chair yoga, Bunco, music programs, balance class, bowling, art, movies and many events and birthday celebrations they always have going on. She has really become involved and I see a big change in her.

The Bridges Retirement Community is an active community offering many opportunities to participate in a wide variety of activities, such as chair dancing, karaoke, book club, Wii bowling, and crafts while building lasting friendships. Our community offers both assisted living and memory care. Located in the charming Brandon/Riverview area of Tampa Bay, The Bridges combines a peaceful community atmosphere with the convenience of city living.
The Bridges is proud of their reputation of providing high-quality assisted living services in a comfortable and safe environment to adults 55 and over. Many of our residents require ongoing health care assistance and supervision. To best accommodate their needs, we offer various levels of care packages for those who may require or desire additional assistance with activities of daily living.
Dining is an important component to the quality of life at The Bridges. That is why we make every effort to ensure we offer flexibility and choices while providing the opportunity to enjoy great food with good friends. Our resident chef prepares delicious meals three times a day and on Sundays, a gourmet meal is held in our clubhouse for residents and their guests.
Assisted living is for those who are 55+ who want to live as independently as possible, however, may need some assistance with their daily activities such as laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation, medication management, etc. What is the difference between an assisted living facility and a skilled nursing facility?.
Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disease that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills and, eventually even the ability to carry out the simplest tasks of daily living. Dementia is a general term for a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life. A health care surrogate shall have the authority to act for the person during his or her incapacity.

The staff is truly amazing! My grandma Joy has loved it since the day she moved in. If you are looking for a place that is clean and will treat your loved ones amazing look no further!! The activities are fantastic, the food they have is amazing (and my grandma is picky) and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of! Donna and Janet are amazing. Jared is one of the nurses and he is always so pleasant and always goes above and beyond. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they do!

The Bridges is a 5 star Assisted Living Facility. My mother resided here for two years and got the care that everyone hopes a parent they love receives. All of the staff from the front desk receptionists to the nurses go above and beyond. They treated my mother like family. Donna Steiermann, the executive director and Janet Noah are amazing. My family highly recommends The Bridges.

The Bridges Community is all about the residents and keeping families up to date with the latest information. COVID is a trying time for all and Donna and Janet make sure all safety protocols are in place. The communication is wonderful with the families and they keep residents involved with all decision making practices and all activities for the residents are safe. The medical staff are on call anytime there is a concern. Jared not only addresses any concerns but his follow up with my mother is like no other. All this is done with respect and dignity for all involved. My mother is extremely happy

I have been in many assistive living facilities in my 42 years of being a physical therapist assistant in the Bay Area. I cannot recommend this place with any higher recommendations. The meals are good, the activities are best I have experienced. The respect that is given by the staff is amazing. If I had to pick a place where I would want to reside, The Bridges would be on my list.

I’ve never seen a job give an employee a 90 day review after only four shifts. I’ve never seen a job literally ask you to come back with a “new personality” because you were a little quiet on those four shifts because all you were asked to do was follow and observe. Coming from a management and new hire training background I would never put a new employee in such an uncomfortable situation where the only two options that were given were “come back as a new person, or that’s it”. God forbid letting someone get comfortable and settled before making your judgement.. after 4 shifts. Props

My Mom is so happy at The Bridges! The staff is always friendly, courteous and professional. They truly care about their residents and take such great, personal care of their residents. They all are truly a blessing! I rest easy knowing my mom is happy, well cared for and enjoying life at The Bridges.
I am very thankful that The Bridges took such a proactive approach in protecting my mom and the other residents during this time of COVID-19. They provide open, regular communication and have taken all necessary protocols to ensure the safety of all.
The building is always spotless and decorated

I absolutely love working here! Its my first CNA job and it might be the only. I love the residents, I love getting to know them and seeing them everyday, I look forward to going to work because i know they are counting on me for the best care! The overall upkeep for the facility is 10/10, between administrative, dietary, maintenance, nursing staff everyone is so happy and helpful I can see myself here for the next 10 yrs if not longer! Thank you for the opportunity :)
