This business shares space with a locksmith.
The locksmith told me the shoe repair guy has not been in business for over a year. All shoe repair signage and products are visible but there is nothing to indicate this is no longer a shoe repair business just a locksmith.

This is the first Yelp review I decide to write because the current rating is terribly misleading!
I have no idea how this place can have five star reviews. I'd select none star if it's in the option. I live across the street and shouldn't have sent any of mine or my gf's shoes to this terrible places just because it's close by.
Destroyed two pairs of my gf's shoes, one pair Nicholas Kirkwood flats over 400$ and this pair of Prada over 900$(bought in last winter). Jose told me it's right to use brush to clean the suede but not only the dirt but also the suede itself is brushed out.

I had a good experience the first time so I went back with some boots.
The lift had come off of one of the 4" heels and part of the leather that wraps the the heel had ripped off. I told him I would figure out the leather part after the heel was fixed. When I went to pick them up I found that he cut almost a half an inch off my wife's $500 leather boots!
The heel now leaned way back. He became very rude when I asked him why he cut off the heels without asking me. He blamed it on the leather piece that was missing. I couldn't believe that a shoe repair professional would do something so incredibly

I can not reccomend this shop enough. I took a brand new pair of Kate Spade Shoes that acquired water damage to have them repaired. Two other shops that I took them to all but said they were unfixable. At Park Avenue South Shoe & Leather Repair the problem with the shoe was recognized from the start, and a most satisfactory solution was suggested to repair the shoe and keep the Kate Spade markings and style still in tact. I am quite pleased with the results and would most definitely return to them to fix any other damaged goods I have with full confidence in their abilities. I have attached a picture
