We will take your measurements, show you samples and make sure you leave with a smile on your face. I have really wide feet - 14 4E is my standard size. As a result, it has been difficult for me to find good looking dress shoes that actually fit me comfortably. When I was in NY last June, I setup an appointment to meet with Mario at Awl & Sundry and he did not disappoint! The entire appointment went very well - Mario was helpful and answered all of my questions. He measured my feet and assured me that they would be able to make a shoe that fits me - and if not I can send it back until they get it right. I have wide flat feet and for years I have struggled to find high quality formal dress shoes. When I decided it was time to to order a pair of bespoke shoes, I found Awl & Sundry's website and made a reservation. I met with Mario and he had me measured and guided me through ordering my first pair of shoes. Less than two weeks later a beautiful of black whole-cut oxfords showed up in the mail. The shoes fit, felt and looked amazing. I expect to order more shoes from Awl & Sundry.

Bought a pair of shoe. Received it, was truly happy with looks and finish, but didn’t fit my feet properly. The size were off.
Contacted Awl & Sundry, and an arrangement was made, returned the off-size pair, and received a new pair that not only look good, but fit me good.
The wonderful things that I can really say about the way Awl & Sundry dealt with my shoe replacement was superb. I did not feel that I was dealing with a big corporate or commercial entity. In fact, I felt like being communicating with the owner of the small shoe shop at my hometown, very friendly, no suspicious behaviour

First time i tried custom made shoes and the last time i bought ready-made ones! Wearing a tailored suit is a whole new experience when you have shoes which match perfect your feet and the idea of your dream outfit. Everyone and the office is very passionated about what they do and always gives 100%! Would recommend this team and their products to everyone who is sick of full shoes shops, bad advices and being one of a thousand!

Love my Awl & Sundry shoes after wearing for well over a year. Enjoyed the whole experience of being properly fitted and being able to choose every aspect of the materials and design elements. The A&S team went out of their way to ensure that my shoes looked and felt great and their efforts still show. My shoes have gotten even more comfy as they have been worn, but still look crisp. Highly recommend them if you are someone who enjoys a bespoke shoe and a reasonable price

I had been looking for a custom shoe solution for many years. I have small feet and finding shoes is very difficult. Mario and the Awl and Sundry team are phenomenal. I have purchased 5 pairs of shoes and each one are fantastic. After the first pair did not fit properly, Mario patiently worked with me until we found the right size and fit. Now I won't consider buying shoes anywhere else. There is no reason to. Awl and Sundry offer fashion forward styles with quality and comfort. Honestly speaking, I would not recommend this if I didn't truly believe what I have written.

Great customer communication and beautiful shoes. Went in to be fitted by Mario (part owner), he devoted time to listen to my concerns and made me feel comfortable and assured.
It's very difficult for me to find dress shoes which fit well, so I was hoping these would be the perfect pair .... and THEY ARE ! The shoes are crafted perfectly with every detail I designed. They are very comfortable with a snug fit personalized for my measurements. Great quality and fast shipping. Now I'm looking forward to ordering my next pair!

Mario and his assistant were wonderful. The location in the flatiron district is convenient and has a cool vibe. The shoes are fully customizable which with a size 15C makes this a great find. Shoes were shipped conveniently to my home despite a tight deadline I gave them. Look and feel great. Price was reasonable for high end shoe designed to my specifications.
