Services
Benevolence Health Center is a federally qualified health center offering the highest level of patient clinical care, patient safety, and education. Since 2005, BHC has provided quality health care and excellent educational programs to the under-served and uninsured in Southern California. Honest and cooperative relationships with patients, families, employers, and other health partners.
Diagnosis and treatment of most common diseases, such as cough and colds, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, fevers, STDs and HIV, pneumonia, Work and School Physicals etc. Our youth programs are designed to help teen mothers and partners understand the health, social and economic challenges of having a child at a young age.
At all our facilities, we believe that each patient should receive the highest quality care and be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. To achieve that, our doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and support personnel work together with one common goal, - to improve the quality of life for our patients.

They’re very unprofessional, and I mean to the point where it took 3 nurses to find my vein. The first 2 nurses were giggling while going through the process and both my arms were purple& HEAVILY bruised. They’re not kind or knowledgeable whatsoever. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I only give them a 2 star due to high volume of calls. However, I tried for over a week to schedule an appointment. The lady at the front desk told me to call my Insurance to approve then call to schedule and appointment. However, I have called over 8 times left voicemails! I have proof, and nobody has had respect to call me back. I gave up on this clinic (first visit) and looking for something with better customer service.

This place is very bad, 0 knowledge on prognosis and diagnosis, they made me wait hours for just for walk in, 5 people came in complaining , the staff is very unprofessional, no one was wearing doctor or nurse attire, I went next door to fill prescription and they tell me I had to pay 60 dollars to fill and end up leaving ther for nothing. I repeat I do not recommend anyone to this so called clinic. Pharmacy had obligations to notify the doctor that medication wasn't covered by insurance and they didnt and made me leave ther for nothing. This place deserves to be shut down!! And they need to start

Took my mom to get a general checkup and made an appointment for 2:30 pm. The doctor did not show up till past 3pm. When they finally called her in, they had had her pee in a cup. They asked her why she had come in and she said her back hurt a lot more even after recovering from COVID-19 more than 4 months ago. The person attending her then left her alone and someone else came in to tell her they couldn’t see her because she had COVID. The receptionist then said she had asked if she had it but she clearly asked if she had it in the last four weeks (again, my my mom recovered from it four months

Avoid BHC if you can help it! The staff doesn't pick up their phones, they make you wait over an hour for your already scheduled appointment, their administrator runs the office like a circus, nobody responds to your concerns, phone lines are alwasy "busy" but NOBODY PICKS UP THEIR PHONES with only 1 phone line? STAY AWAY, ITS A JOKE HERE!

Love Dr. Nova and staff in the Dental Department . Doctor Nova is an excellent doctor, he is responsible for my finding out I had Osteoporosis. I see doctors all the time for different conditions , INCLUDING BACK SPINAL PROBLEMS and no doctor EVER picked up on my condition. The work he did on my teeth was exceptional. The staff is very courteous and his assistants are very knowledgeable, kind and efficient. If I could afford any dentist I wanted, I would still choose doctor Nova. The only down aspect of seeing him is that is very difficult to get through to his office when you call the clinic;

Staff is very helpful, I didn't have an appointment but was still able to get seen. I didn't have an appt I walked in, and was told I would have a wait, after about 35 mins I was called in. The girl in the back was pretty fast, the doctor too. They even helped me switch doctors. I am extremely satisfied...

Tiny office, 1 dr on Saturdays... this office is so small they call you in, send you out to wait again, 3 times back and forth... is this how it's supposed to work, nope. Not for me. It's so fkn ghetto here.

I really like this place a lot. The whole staff is really friendly and nice. I go to the dentist office and I love the staff that work there. They are friendly and welcome you with such a nice and warming smile. During your appointment, they always check up on you to make sure you are doing great. I have Dr. Nova and he is by far, the best one ever. He is such a sweet doctor and he makes sure that you have the best smile that you love to own. I definitely recommend this place and if anyone ever wants to go, try Dr. Nova. The whole family loves him and the staff admire him all the time.

This place is horrible. I pay over $200/mo for my PPO and they're trying to charge me for my visit. I'm sick as a dog AND I need a doctors note to return to work.

I would give the entire "office staff" at this facility zero stars if I could. They are absolutely clueless and useless at this office and are completely unorganized. I went in for blood testing and a few other things as well with Dr.Sabrina Moiseyev (who was very nice and attentive) and after going over my lab results with the doctor I was told my lab results would be posted into my online patient portal that same day. This stupid and useless patient portal is a God damn joke because nobody ever responds to your urgent emails. Here I am three weeks later and after 8 phone calls and 3 messages

I went here about a month ago to get a physical. I'm not the best at getting my blood drawn as I hate needles. Plus, the last time my blood was drawn, I got extremely light headed and nearly passed out so I didn't want my blood drawn but it was physical time. France (a nurse?) at Benevolent was great - she was gentle and understanding. She had me lay down while she drew my blood and lightly chatted and joked to distract me while she gently put the needle in my arm to draw blood. Best blood drawing experience ever. So, if any of you are squeamish- go here.
