My wife just came home from nearly 3 weeks at Coventry. I write this review to give others an opportunity to take a look. A few years back, she was in a different facility that was recommended by the doctor. This time, we solicited other opinions and eventually found Coventry. From the time we walked in and was given a tour by the admissions coordinator we knew there was a major difference between the two operations.
The staff the administrator has put together, nursing, attendants, physical therapists for sure, and all the day-to-day people that took care of her were great. Attitude was excellent, smiling, and trying to be of help was the cornerstone. Their discharge planning process was something we had not seen before and was a great place to disseminate all the information that we needed.

Services
We provide 24-hour skilled care and rehabilitation services in a comfortable and friendly environment. Our professional team is here to assist you and your family through the services we offer. Our social service team assists patients and families during transitional periods. We also provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, and help in care planning and discharge planning for each patient.
With that said, we understand that it's difficult to be separated from your family members and loved ones. If possible, Skype, FaceTime or use other forms of visual communication to hear and see one another. Make sure to include grandkids, family members, and close friends in calls. Order a book, movie, game or anything else online and surprise your family member with a way to help them occupy some time.
Our father was a patient at Coventry Court, recovering from a knee replacement. He also had dementia, which made his stay and rehab more complicated. We would like to take this time to express our deep appreciation of the professionalism, along with a great attitude, that we witnessed of all employees from Coventry Court.
We recommend visiting between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. If you have a special circumstance, please speak with the charge nurse on duty so alternate visiting hours may be arranged. Although we do not have a formal policy stating visitation guidelines, we suggest using the common areas of the facility to meet with your loved one.

I am an EMT and was dropping off a patient to this facility late at night. Upon arrival, nursing staff refused to let us in and told us they were too busy to accept the patient (who was already accepted there and had a bed waiting). They forced us to wait outside for 30+ minutes in 40 degree weather while they "figured it out". We made attempts at contacting this facility from outside because they avoided coming to the door. This rehab centet/nursing home is wonderful! very clean, good customer service, nurses are so helpful, nursing assistant are all wonderful, everybody as a whole really know their business!!!, service with a smile!! They very nearly let my sister die. She was very very ill and they did not call an ambulance until I insisted. She arrived at the ER in SEPTIC SHOCK and was fighting for her life. She had an infection so bad, her kidneys had shut down, a bedsore that was so large and deep it was unstagable and her lungs had Ensure Nutrition drink in them which also caused pneumonia. I would give negative stars if it were possible. Their website looks like wonderful food is served but I didn't see it and she wasn't eating the entire time she was there (a month!) This place should be shut down.

I'm so happy with the care coventry provided my grandmother! From the admins to doctors to nurses and CNAs, everyone made sure my grandmother was comfortable during her time there. She was taken care of with the highest regard and there were so many wonderful employees who made Coventry feel like a second home to her. I highly recommended this facility to anyone, even if you live further way! They won't disappoint.

I can't thank Coventry enough for the care they gave to my mother. This is the second time I brought my mother here and they did not disappoint. Physical therapy here is exceptional, they got her up and walking way quicker than I could have ever imaged. Her nurses were very friendly and kind. They truly care about their pts. 5 stars all around!

I have been healthy most of my life and never been hospitalized. After a horrible fall I broke my leg and required orthopedic surgery and rehab to walk safely and re-gain my strength. I was not excited about having to go to a skilled nursing facility as I am only in my early 50's. I was only there for 12 days but I could not have had a more positive experience. The nurses and CNA's took such good care of me, the food was surprisingly good and the rehab team kicked my butt and got me walking again. I am incredibly thankful to Coventry Court and would recommend them to anyone requiring skilled care

My mother stayed here after testing negative for Covid-19, and I was very nervous to send her to a facility, in fear that she would get the virus. However, the staff did an impeccable job of following all of the safety precautions and even allowed us to do a window visit.
I was incredibly impressed by the care that was provided for my mother during her stay. She had no complaints, her nurses did a great job in making her feel at home.
I would definitely recommend bringing your loved one here.

Please don't bring your loved ones here. Although there are a few really good people, it's not the normal. Through lack of care this place will break the mental health of your loved one down, it's literally like being tortured. Any other place has got to be better, at the very least, it can't be worse.

I was hospitalized for COVID and spend 14 days in the quarantine unit. All the staff took every precautionary measure to ensure no spending of the virus's. I then was then transferred to another unit to continue to receive care and therapy.

I was a patient at Coventry Court for about 2 1/2 months after a serious illness at the hospital. This was a brand new environment and it was hard for me to feel safe or comfortable in my surroundings or feel confident in anyone who came to my room. Not being able to care for myself and very weak, I felt very vulnerable being somewhere I wasn't familiar with and dependent on people I didn't know. Our mother needed rehab after a 2-week stay in the hospital for pneumonia. She had been in 3 previous skilled nursing facilities in the past for similar situations. Coventry Court, was by far, the best facility she had been in. As an RN, I am very aware of the level of care and attention patients receive, and have to say the staff was very impressive -- from the chef coming to the bedside to inquire what she was hungry for and that he would make anything she wanted, to excellency in the nursing staff. Sufficient parking is the only negative.

Well happy anniversary. It's been a year since coffintry CT. took my mothers life. Doctor doesn't return calls and when you finally beg him to stop overdosing my mom with morphine .he agrees "as needed" but forgets to tell nurses. I call and tell nurse to stop check new doc .orders .im on my way to get her out of there to take her to emergency. But I was 5 mins late.too late nurse goes ahead and gives her more .Let alone the harrassing phone calls I'd get while I was driving begging them to let me pull over to talk safely. Yes mother was old but people please please don't let your loved ones die

Very upset with this Nursing home. My Mother was here for 5 days. They may serve food but they dont care if the patient eats or not. They just keep making sure they give her all this medication but who cares if the patient needs help eating, let them starve, And upon discharge they sent her home with half her belongings and when i called to find out what happen. They basically gave me the run around and made it sound like no big deal. They also forget to send one of her medications and they said to call back the next day. WHAT! Did they not care that a Hospice patient has to go with out the medication

My mother stayed here after she had a stroke back in September of 2019. She has been here since the first week of October and they have treated her with so much love and kindness i am so grateful for this facility and she was able to leave thanksgiving day and they made sure she was still going to receive help after discharge. I am truly grateful for this facility. They even made sure my dad felt comfortable while my mom stayed here. Thanks again to all the Staff that worked with Antonia.

The nurses and lvn at this facility are great. However the head nurse Ms. Ludi Budy is rude and a shame to be the director of the nursing staff. I was visiting my grandmother who was taken to this place for recovery and in one of my visits i passed by in a room and she was yelling at the patient and her nurse. I dont think that was right so i had spoken to my family about taking our grandma away from Ms. Budy’s facility. The administration should go and take the care and respect of their patients and staff seriously.
I will be filing a formal complaint to the Nursing board regarding this matter

We were very pleased with this facility. The staff is very friendly and the center is relatively clean. My 80 year old mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and felt the best she ever felt after staying at Coventry Court for 2 weeks. Nurses and Dr's are very busy, but they always take the time to speak with family and treat the patients with dignity and respect. I would recommend this rehab facility to anyone who needs this type of care.
