If I could give this place a zero star i would! I do alot of deliveries all over the city and I must say....the owner of this restaurant is by far the nastiest/angriest woman I ever met!! Every employee that worked for her restaurant will say the same thing! Very bad for business when you treat people like alley trash smh!!

The Urban Deli is becoming a favorite place for lunch when I can escape the home office for a bit. The sandwiches are simply yummy. The service is friendly and prompt. The whole vibe is wonderful. It is also ideal to support a local Federal Hill Small business as often as we can. Hope you will do the same.
My recommendations.... the caprese sandwich or the Veggie wrap. Please do not forget to treat yourself to a pickle... they are huge and just perfect!

I am probably being biased, and that's never a good thing when writing a review, but I can't get used to the baked egg wave. Nonetheless, I've only had this place 2 times in 4months of being in Baltimore; then again I don't really eat bacon egg and cheeses from here (hard to find anything that resembles NY egg sandwiches) and maybe that's where it becomes an issue, maybe it's me. I will try again! I do love how soft their bagels are, which they get locally. I do recommend trying this place to open your eyes to a new way to

Very poor experience. The bagels we ordered were all made incorrect. I ordered a gluten Free bagel which she confidently told me they had then 15 minutes later told me they ran out after I already paid for it. Did not offer me my money back but yet offered me a gluten free ciabatta roll which was the size of a silver Dollar. They focused on the online orders over the customers ordering in the store. For 3 bagels with cream cheese , it took 25 minutes for our order to be completed. Do not plan on going back which is a shame.

Urban deli has a very distinct look outside so it will make you want to go in. Upon arriving you can smell the deli smell of fresh everything. I got the turkey sobo and I added the alfalfa sprouts to my sandwich delicious indeed it's a panini sandwich well worth it. Sandwich is great size and all Vegas taste good together. Cost was reasonable about 10-12 dollars. I will be back.

We had been waiting to go here for weeks and finally did it. Got the avocado toast and a BLT. The avocado toast was just slices of avocado on a plain piece of bread, not mashed at all, not even salt and pepper on top. If you're an avocado toast fan, I would not recommend. The BLT was all of about 3 slices of bacon for $9 and tasted just like any other BLT. This place is not worth the price that comes with it.

I get urban deli probably once a week. I love the SOBO panini! Urban deli is a staple in the Fed Hill community. You can tell by all their loyal customers and their love for their customers' dogs (they have pictures of all the dogs on their wall). I also love that it's a woman owned business and get many of their ingredients from other local businesses.

Accidentally got a sandwich when I ordered a salad for delivery (but they graciously fixed it and they were so nice about it) and I think I found my new favorite sandwich in Baltimore! I've never felt so lucky to have received the wrong order. It was a delicious sandwich. Can't wait to order from them again!

Finally was able to stop by this morning for a Special Sunday Breakfast Feast to take to my grandson who is hospitalized.
The food (Everything Bagel Breakfast Sandwiches and BLT's on toasted Sourdough) were just exceptional. Everything is handmade w fresh ingredients and great care.
The Owner Laura McCormack and her staff are
attentive and friendly.
Check this place out. It is a Federal Hill/South Baltimore gem!

I have ordered sandwiches from here on several occasions couple for work. They make great sandwiches, no bad option.
My favorites were the smokin sobo and sassy sagamore, and
Smoothie is definitely healthier than it is tasty. The one I had tasted like plain yogurt. Torn about whether I recommend ordering it again. Maybe a fluke.

This place is right around the corner from my apt, so it's frequented quite a bit on lazy weekend mornings. We always call our order ahead because it sometimes get packed in there and the lady (who I think is the owner) is always cheery and friendly.
Their breakfast sandwiches are ok. Big fan of their Nova Bagel (especially the price!!!) and the Smokin' Sobo is incredible - one of my boyfriend's fave sandwiches (and the guy really loves sandwiches.)
All in all, decently solid neighborhood spot.
