Not far from the world famous Lexington Market by the corner of Mulberry and Paca Street is Trinacria. It's like stepping into the past the moment that you enter the store.
Every variety of shape and type of dry pasta is available to purchase. Wines from Italy that don't require a you to take out a second mortgage on your Condo .
There's a Deli Case with Italian Cheeses and Olives. Many types of Italian Ycold Cuts like Cappicola, Mortadella, and different Salamis along with Marinated Artichoke Hearts and stuffed peppers.
The vibe hear is an old school Italian Deli they sell a variety

Trinacria's a Baltimore institution for three generations (since 1908) of the Fava family is a walk back in time. It is a destination for old world charm and great prices on wines, deli and all the pasta you could ever imagine.
Located on Paca Street blocked for the infamous Lexington Market (presently undergoing a revitalization) Trinacria's takes you back to a time when life seemed to be simpler and everyone knew you from the neighborhood. What amazes me is the number of people who travel here from far and wide to source some of the best Italian food and experience an old fashion

First time back here in probably 20 years, since I don't live in the area anymore. Did not disappoint! Love the smells of freshly grated cheeses. This time I got a sandwich and the bread was fresh and it was loaded with meat and cheese. I could only eat half of it for lunch and had the rest for an afternoon snack. Look forward to my next trip.

Always a great day when I discover an old world Italian Deli. When you walk in you get the amazing aroma of the cheese and cured meats which says "you have entered a Salumerie."
Not very far from the Lexington market, they were quiet a little after 1 Friday afternoon but really picked up when I was leaving.
They have deli meats, cheese, desserts, olive bar, wine, refrigerated/frozen sauces, pasta, dough and dry/non perishable Italian staples. It has a Bodega feel to it & you could spend some time looking around in the tight spaces. If I Iived closer, I would be here a few times

Sorry Trinacria, was trying to find a reason to give a great review but simply couldn't. Went there years ago and was underwhelmed but figured I'd make another effort. Standard Italian sandwich was ok but nothing great- no standout bread, average meats - a very average sandwich. Not what you'd expect from a "known for Italian deli food" type of spot. Appetizer of sausage and peppers was sliced sausage (awkward) of ok taste in a sea of marinana sauce. The three stars is me being nice because I respect the establishment's history.

Can't say enough good things about this place! The owner Vince really puts his heart into this place and it shows. Tasty food, friendly service, amazing value. Their catering process is SO simple with easy online ordering and free delivery. Really takes the stress out of planning an event, they will even provide staff if needed.

If you like pasta then you should make a trip out here - they have tons of frozen and fresh pasta including harder to find selections such as bucatini and squid ink to choose from in addition to very very very well-priced deli meats. The prepared food selection is no DiPascale's but you're paying half as much so I can't complain. I only had the muffalletto (plenty of meat, my grievance would be the "olive salad" is more of a thin olive tapanade and as someone who's obsessed with muffulettas you gotta have the chunky giardiniera mix and splash plenty of the oil and

Today I was waiting for my brakes to get fixed, around the corner from Trinacria, at Maish's Auto. While waiting I started to get hungry, as I had not yet had lunch. I asked if there was a good place to get a sandwich nearby, and they recommended this place.
I walked down the block and upon entering, I thought the place was really interesting. This local Deli does not only do sandwiches. They are a real local Italian Deli. They sell wine, homemade pastas and pastries, and several other Italian specials. I have included photos and the sandwich menu.
As I had come for a sandwich, I decided

Visited during a short day trip to Baltimore. Very small space but they utilize it to the fullest with tons of items. They also sell a lot of different wines at very affordable prices. Highly recommend their sandwiches (esp. the meatball sub and rosemary ham panini) and fresh rosemary focaccia. It can get a little dicey in there as far as maintaining distance from other customers when busy though

Literally what a market should be! The perfect place for pantry staples, quick to-go offerings and cheap wine. The staff is beyond amazing and friendly. Takes me back to the days when you knew the name of your butcher down the block. Make a homemade pizza or pick up a warm loaf of bread and prosciutto. I am traditionally not a fan of Italian sweets like cannolis or tiramisu but I adore theirs. For the lunch time crowd you can get fast, loaded sandwiches for a great price.

Absolutely love this place. I probably get the lasagna two or three times a month, they have a good wine selection, lots of ingredients sold individually so you can make your meal yourself or buy it frozen. Sandwiches are good. Fresh bread. The shrimp salad is absolutely delicious. Definitely a must try.

Italian cold cuts are very cheap and good. I would go back just for that.
They have a good variety of items to make your own pasta or Italian dish at home.
Chicken parm was huge and tasty on a fresh piece of bread. Sauce and cheese was delish. The chicken was a frozen patty that I wasn't fond of.
Customer service was wonderful. Everybody was helpful and ready to help.
I think my opinion of this place may slightly be jaded because I am comparing it to dipasquales. They have my heart. This place is cheaper than dipasquales, but you get what you pay for.
