Prior resident here who had moved out from calavo Woods apartments into different area. The place I moved to winded up not working out and we needed to move out as soon as possible. The property manager at Calavo Woods worked very hard to get us an apartment that suited our needs and budget. She really helped us out and went above and beyond. Upon arriving to our new apartment, which was extremely clean, new floors, new appliances, there was a welcome basket with a few toiletries. I have never received that from any other apartments I have lived at. A small gesture but made me feel so at home and

Worst complex ever. My father in law passed away on March 7th of this year and was in the hospital since february 25th. When we told the property manager she said to take our time cleaning out his unit and then turns around and says that there will be none of his $800 deposit returned bc he didn't pay rent for March. What kind of BS is that? That's not all...
There is only one wheel chair accessible ramp to our part of the apartment complex and people constantly are parking on it and blocking it so it is not accessible. I have called and emailed our property manager and nothing happens

I've been living here for 6 months now and we enjoy it! The manager is sweet and understanding and the maintenance guy is always on top of things! The area is great and everything we need is less than a mile away! Landscapers are here all the time to maintain as well which is great! I give 4 stars because the buildings do shift which is pretty hard to control and also for the price but I'm okay paying it for the safety and happiness of my babies.

This place is a joke! Make sure that you don't expect any deposit back when you move out because they charge you for everything! The complex is disgusting outside but they tell you "they will be painting soon and just to wait" The inside is old and not kept up either. I would not recommend this place to anyone
