Services
Community Property Management is a long-term rental management company that specializes in residential and commercial properties. We are located at the mouth of the Columbia River in beautiful, historic Astoria Oregon. Our rental properties, which include studio and full sized apartments, duplexes, homes and waterfront commercial space, are located all along the north Oregon coast.
We offer a full range of property management services tailored to you as an investor, homeowner, or landlord. We have an extensive porfolio of single family homes, townhouses, condos, and apartments in the Clatsop County area. We have a variety of long-term properties to suit every need. Whether you are looking for a place of your own or are wanting to rent yours out, we'd love to talk with you!
Our application fee is $50, and must be paid in cash, cashier's check or money order at the time the application is accepted. Depending upon the number of applicants - the application fee can be higher - see item #2. The application is $50 for the first person (and/or couple (married, companion, partner, civil union, etc.)) whose rental history for the past 3 years was the same; and $25 per person for each additional application.

An owner hires a company to take care of their buildings and tenants. Community Property Management has done neither for my properties. Emails left unanswered, tenants charged wrong rents, leases sent to wrong addresses, me being charged for security systems I don’t even have, paying other people’s landscaping bills, water liens put in place for lack of payment. It’s the most disorganized POS business in Astoria. They’re awful. Just awful. I’m filing a lawsuit against them and against their real estate license in Salem for a complete investigation.

Best rental company I've ever rented from!! We lived in one of their houses for three years and I don't have one complaint! They were very speedy when ever we needed something, like maintenance. I miss our home (we moved out of state) very much! The property was well maintained and beautiful! When we moved out LJ was very accommodating and made it seem easy. We received our deposit back with no issues. If I ever return to this area Easom would, without a doubt, be my first and only choice for a home! Thank you, Easom for being everything a rental company should be!!

Im not sure why they have so many bad reviews. ive been a tenant in a lot of places and cities and what ive learned is the energy you put out is what you receive. ive got nothing but good things to say. my place is old and run down, but they have slowly been upgrading the entire property. and any time i need maintenance ive never waited more then 48 hrs

Horrible customer service... left numerous messages with no call back... rude as can be... astronomical downpayments needed... wouldnt recommend these people to anyone for any reason... my worst enemy deserves better... save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere and hire different property managers or do it yourself...

Kent Easom does not fulfill his fiduciary obligations. Buyers and renters beware. This man will not answer phone calls, questions, or emails. It might be a few days before he gets back to you about important matters. We were buyers and instead of working with us, he worked with the sellers (flippers) who list their rentals with his property company. He isn't someone you want to represent you in anything financial. Astoria is a small town and if you look at his reviews, they are all one stars for a reason.
