Jin Jou Meighen has been immersed in the world of natural gems and fine custom jewelry from a young age. On an elementary school field trip, she discovered her first gem buried in the earth. It was a beautifully shaped quartz crystal scepter embedded in a mountain top. Later, in middle school while swimming, she was attracted by a glowing ray of sparkling color shinning up from the river bottom.
Our custom made jewelry in York, PA design is top notch. Our process always starts with the client's wishes and personality. Jin Jou first listens to the client's inspirations, specific ideas, budget and individual concerns about jewelry. Often the client hand picks gems from our extensive inventory.
We have fancied diamonds since the very beginning, one reason we love engagement rings featuring diamonds. Diamonds are the hardest substance known and sparkle like nothing else. Sometimes called "Adamas", a Greek name denoting invincibility, diamonds have the highest regard in the jewelry industry.

Let me start off with, this place is beautiful. The location, the way it's set up, the old house look they somewhat kept. Wasn't expecting such a beautiful place for a jewelry shop. My boyfriend came in trying to sell an old engagement ring he bought. He wanted at least a thousand dollars. She not only gave me a GREAT price for the 3 pieces of jewelry I was hoping to sell, but she exceeded the prices I received by other places I researched for the diamond ring. From the time we walked in to the time we left we felt like we were family, these lady’s take very good care of you, from the picking out the diamond, to the type of metal you want and style , and the turn around was so fast which is what we needed for our wedding being only 5 days away! I went into Gem Boutique dead set on getting an emerald for an engagement ring. Jin Jou talked me out of it (apparently emeralds are very soft and will not hold up to daily wear; most jewelers would have just given me what I wanted but I loved her honest feedback) and helped me build this GORGEOUS custom sapphire ring. She has a lot of jewelry already made in the show room but can custom build basically whatever you want. She is a legit gemologist and I had a great experience with her.
