Solitaire settings are great if you have a stunning singular stone that has been passed down through the generations as an heirloom, many choose to display it in a classic Solitaire setting. This setting generally allows for the maximum amount of sparkle by allowing light to pass in through the bottom sections of the ring.
One carat equals to 0.2 grams or 200 milligrams. Carat weight is the prime factor that determines the weight of a diamond. Larger diamonds are undoubtedly costlier. Carat makes expressing diamond weight easier as compared to milligrams. Instead of giving three labels to diamonds weighing 20 milligrams, 211 milligrams and 220 milligrams, carat offers a category for fitting the diamonds in a one category, placing these diamonds in one-carat range.

Everyone was attentive and helpful in my search for a new wedding band. When the band I wanted to buy was sold an hour before I was going in to purchase it, I was very disappointed. However, I was accommodated very quickly and a new one was ordered. I was expecting to wait 6-8 weeks for it, but after only a week, I got a phone call saying it was in. More than your chain jewelry store, Scott & Co is a true fine jeweler. I needed to get my diamond wedding band repaired because it had broken in half. The jewelry store where my husband had bought it was permanently closed due to the pandemic, looked on the internet and found Scott & Co and decided to give them a try. Extremely satisfied with the repair in fact my ring looked better than when we first bought it. Would definitely go there again whether purchasing a new piece of jewelry or having a piece repaired.

I met with Amanda with my mom’s engagement ring and another diamond ring of hers. She passed away in 2016 and I didn’t want her diamonds to sit in a box anymore. Amanda designed for me two bands with Celtic knot-work after she saw my tattoos with my mom’s diamonds. She fit my single anniversary band into the design also. Christine created it. The workmanship and the detail was beyond what I could have hoped for. Absolutely stunning and exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much, Amanda and Christine. Kara was great to work with to make a special piece of jewelry. I had a center diamond stone of my own and wanted to have a setting made for it to create a one of a kind ring. We worked together on the design of the setting. Kara always communicated with me while the setting was being made. The setting turned out beautiful. The pave split shank setting was gorgeous and would enhance the center stone just like wanted. I gave Kara the center stone to be set and again she was great communicating with me. I purchased both an engagement ring, and a wedding ring here, and I was highly satisfied throughout the process. I never felt rushed, or pressured, and my wife and I were very pleased with the quality.
After the wedding, my wife decided to have the two rings soldered together. We dropped them off, fully expecting to pay for this, but we were informed that since we purchased both rings here, there would be no charge. What a nice surprise! This service was performed quickly and the results were perfect. Other repairs we have taken them have ended with the same positive results.
