We are available five days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to provide you and your pet with the best possible care. We hope your pet never has a health emergency, but when you do we're always ready to help. We work very hard to make room in our schedule for a pet in need, but there are times we may need to refer patients to other facilities that can provide the best care for your pet's 24-hour emergency needs.

Im truly disappointed. Ive been going to Suzi for 20 years and have referred so many people to Westside. I didnt want to write the review but felt it was necessary. Its easy to like your vet when they are happy for your service.glad you showed up on time and willing to wait and paid the bill even though you thought it was a little high. Why wouldnt your Vet be thrilled to see you so the overall interaction is positive. But when you call without an appointment because you have a 4 week old stray kitten that needs to be taken out of pain and euthanized well. all of a sudden you are not the perfect

Can we talk about how there's NOT ONE negative review about this Animal Hospital on any rating page!?! AMAZING 10/10. I will never go to another vet again. Yes the wait is long even if you have an appt (trust me I'm the most impatient person on this planet lol) but it's SO WORTH IT! The Dr takes her time and really cares and loves each pet! Such good pricing as well! Couldn't say anything better. I'm so happy to have found this place. I've tried so many other Vet Hospitals and they were all such bad experiences it's nice to see there's someone out there who

My mastiff has now been to this vet twice & I am so happy to have finally found a vet who actually cares, who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My dog is a pandemic puppy and completed the her puppy plan at another vet before I took her to Westside and the way the vet at Westside actually comes out and goes over everything with you is so nice! The other didnt do that and this makes me so much more comfortable not being able to go inside with her due to the pandemic and esp Bc my mastiff is a puppy but since she's big I feel like the other vet office didn't treat her like one

Very nice facility. We took 5 abandon 3 week old kittens in and they told what we needed to know to help them survive and treated them for fleas. It was only $35 for everything. Plus they waited for us to get there because it was ready to close when we called. Amazing service. They don't do exotic animals or reptiles just your standard cats and dogs. I am not sure if they work with farm animals either it's a small town vet's office. For covid 19, you must wait outside or at least we had to, that could have been for after hours but I am sure it's due to the covid 19.

I love this vet and trust them with my dog. I live that they have large windows all over so that you don't feel claustrophobic or forgotten about. The doctor gives you her undivided attention every single time. It's run by 1 doctor, not muliti-doctors. She will be straight forward with you about what you need or don't need. I live an hour away and I still make the trip back because I trust her word above all others.

Seriously used to love this place and have spent good money on their services i had my appointment scheduled almost a week in advance. My dog has irritated eyes from all the ash from the fire. I completely understand how diificult Covid is on small businesses but i waited almost an hour!past my appointment time!and on top of that had the rudest vet tech take my dog in saying that I would just have to wait. Excuse me!i scheduled my appointment for 4 not 5 and some change. Never coming here or spending money here again. They stack their appointments so close they consistently run late on appointments

I've been to 4 veterinarians in the last 23 years and this is by far the best animal doctor in the world! Between my aunt and I, we've taken 8 or so cats and +\-4 dogs. She is amazing, not just with my fur babies, but also with us companions. When my lil Max needed a specialty surgery, she referred him out. Lots of vets would do the work themselves but she looks for the absolute best possible treatment, regardless if it's her or not. I took two pets to this vet recently. Both were well cared for. The staff was patient and responsive. The prices were reasonable. Both pets had surgeries and are recovering well at home. I would have felt more comfortable if they had a night time staff member for pets that stay overnight. Perhaps they make special arrangements for pets that require meds and care in the night. Also, the doctor seemed quite experienced and explained the post surgery information clearly. She is very busy and does not have a lot of time for hand holding, but she answered all of my questions and alleviated any concerns

My husband and I have been using this vet for years and we have nothing but good things to say about Doctor Suzie and her staff. They are caring, compassionate and thorough. Last year when our beagle started to have some unusual symptoms, Doctor Solvin was able to correctly diagnose her and direct us to the right people at UC Davis. As a result of all their efforts, our dog is fully recovered and living out a happy, healthy life. Thanks Westside Animal Hospital.

Decided to try this location since we needed a new vet for this area we moved to. Glad we did the staff wa friendly, my only concern was that the appointment took way too long. We waited over 45 mins for the doctor to me that's unreasonable. The doctor was friendly and very informative once we saw her. The prices are reasonable and the location is nice and clean. Seems we found our new veterinary.

Dr. Susanne and staff are both professional and lovingly caring. Your pet will receive the best of care here no matter if an annual checkup or a specific ailment. We have been bringing our cats here since we became Newman neighbors in 2003. Prices for services are very reasonable especially when judged by the level of care.
Over the years we have lived in several locations in the Bay Area, and also in Reno NV. We had several different veterinarians, some good some no so good, but Westside Animal Hospital my wife and I place at the top. This is exactly how you want the animal members of your family

Wow what a visit. Yes i had to wait a long time but meeting this vet was well worth it. I felt like not only did she care and apologized for the wait the entire staff interacted with my 2 yr old son and gave us a tour. She was very informative and explained her methods and gave her opinion but never forced a option on me. This was beyond great, so much that I can't wait for another visit.

What a wonderful place! I was referred to this place by two good friends and drove two hours today each way for Suzanne and her crew; they are amazing people with great customer service. Suzanne is very thorough and detailed and took very good care of my pet cat today. My cat had several issues and they were taken care of to my complete satisfaction. I also found out many new facts about taking care of my cat that I did know before.
Suzanne and her staff are very trusting and run a good and clean operation.

My normal vet was booked and I felt my sick cat needed to be seen ASAP. I was able to get an afternoon appointment on Saturday at Westside. Dr. Solvin was great. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing it. Dr and her staff really listened to what was going on with my cat and documented everything, leaving no detail out. She was very reasonable with the bill, she also ran a couple of tests/xrays at no charge as she knew I have been to my regular vet 2x already. I feel fortunate to have found Westside Animal Hospital and feel Dr. and staff had my cat's best interest at the top
