Food was fabulous and affordable. The paisano was the best deli sandwich I have had in a Long long time. Visiting from out of state and I will definitely go here again.

Forgot how AMAZING this little place is! We were greeted with a smile and the food was ready before we had our drinks filled 👊 Dave at the register was so helpful and kind. Thank you for continuing to be an upstanding local small business in Sarasota.

This is a very comfortable place with happy people and really good food. I usually call in my order and it's waiting for me when I get there. And don't forget their prices. Extremely reasonable.

I have heard wonderful things about this deli but I was APPALLED by the service and disappointed by the sandwich. I have a dairy allergy so I always make sure to ask ingredients, particularly for things like bread. When I inquired if there was dairy in the bread due to an allergy the response I was given was anything but professional: "I hate to inform you but 99.9% of bread has egg." Egg is NOT dairy! This is a common mistake but I have never had an employee respond with such attitude! The man couldn't tell me if ANY of the bread had milk product or not

Unfortunately I hate the bread. It's kinda like Subway bread. I prefer Jimmy John's bread.

The meat and cheese is nice and fresh. The crew is nice but the sandwich making process is slow.

I'd go in a pinch but I wouldn't seek it out.

I will get right to the point. This place is fantastic, clean , friendly and great food every time. Today tried the tuna sandwich. I am a tuna fanatic . Best tuna sandwich I have ever had.
Congrats to the owner's for all their hard work serving the public. Many other restaurants we have tried locally hide behind the virus as their excuse for poor food and service.

Quick, Friendly, and terrific daily specials. Great local spot close to Siesta Key. The Rustler and Dagwood are two of my favorites. Also try the potato salad!!

A very good deal

In my first review several years ago, I was impressed with their Caribbean sandwich, so that's what I tried again today. Still impressed. It didn't seem that small this time and was still full of flavor. To recap, it is a hot pastrami with provolone cheese, romaine, red onion, pepperoni, and their mayo based Caribbean sauce, on an onion roll. They offer lots of signature sandwiches, all but a few under $8, and even daily specials under $5. This place is a very good deal.

My husband and I split an Italian sub. The meat and toppings were all very fresh. The bread was so soft that it stuck to the roof of my mouth. The man who took our order was indifferent and hardly friendly. Overall it was okay but this place could use a little touch of the Robert Irvine spirit (what makes a mediocre restaurant a great restaurant).

I sometime crave corkscrew for some reason I love their garlic mayo on sandwiches but every time I end up leaving wondering why I wanted it. Thank goodness I got the special and only spent 9$ Lackluster lately. WHAT now I don’t even get a pickle with my skimpy sandwich... .50 cents that was the best part lol
Just prepare to be hungry in an hour ( and I’m 110 lbs) don’t believe you should raise prices if in same plaza you have over 3 new options of food!

Food was fine. The service via Uber Eats was terrible. ETA was 55 min from the time of order but actually it took 2 hours.

The food here is very fresh! Good vibes from the employees is the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Hit right at lunch hour but no wait time to speak of! Employees were on it! Ordered 2 specials, which were the Athena and not disappointed. Will definitely return here.

The cutest little deli!! Went here a few weeks ago. Food was ready quickly, not to mention delicious and great quality. Ate outside in the back, which was so relaxing. I really enjoyed my experience here and cannot wait to visit again on my next trip to the area.

A fantastic little deli with great sandwiches and selections. They are quick and good. They also have a few salads to choose from.

I got their Cuban, which was really more a panini. Not what normally comes to mind when I think cuban, but it was good. Usually i think more the deep fried style cuban with a little sugar sprinkled on it. It is NOT that style.

My parents got their BLTs and the breads for their sandwiches are good quality. The prices make just about everything they offer a great deal.

This is a small privately owned and operated deli that offers daily specials. They offer delivery service if orders are placed before 10:30 am. and there is a minimum for delivery. They also offer a loyalty punch card for ten purchases earns you a free meal. They offer some really great catering options too.

There is a wide selection of sandwiches to choose and what tends to happen is you find the one you love and no matter how many times you order, you seem to gravitate to the same one. For me, it's the Paisano sandwich, which has salami, black forest ham, provolone cheese, tomato, onions

My top 3 here: $3.99 Cuban sandwiches on Saturday, super chocolatey homemade brownies and crispy dill pickles. Owner-operated, friendly staff, always clean, quality sandwiches, salads and soups. Free soda and tea (fresh-brewed sweet and unsweet) refills. Busy during lunch hour rush so plan ahead.
Solid vegetarian options. Grilled cheese always makes my daughter happy and the curry sauce on The Harvest sandwich was a perfect addition.
Wheelchair accessible entrance, tables and bathroom.
Always worth it.

We stopped in for a late weekday lunch while in the area. This shopping center is under construction so this and Sweet Tomato were the easiest places to access.

The menu was pretty large, which always gives me menu anxiety and makes me indecisive. My husband had placed his order already, so I panicked and went with the daily special. I got lucky that it was something I actually wanted to eat, lol.

My husband went with a small Italian for $5.19. On this particular day, the $4.49 special was The Bounty (turkey, lettuce, cucumber, onions and ranch).

Saw a sign advertising the best Cuban in Sarasota for $3.99 and have to say I was a bit leery l, but I'm glad I took the risk because the sandwhich is worth that and more.
Corkscrew is just a small deli, but with my first visit I have to say that they pack a big punch. The Cuban was fantastic and the pasta salad was on point. Definitely a good place to come and grab a quick bite for a great price.
