My wife and I've eaten here twice in the last week. These are great sandwiches. I've had the pastrami/ham on marble and the wife a turkey sandwich. I've also gotten a shrimp/corn chowder soup. The staff is very friendly and virtually no wait even when it appears busy. We'll be back and hats off to these folks. Check it out if you get a chance.

Yummy! We visited Anna's Deli today for the first time because of the great reviews. I had a turkey sandwich with all the veggies and Annie's secret sauce on marble bread. It was piled high and so delicious. The bread was the softest I think I've ever eaten. It must be made in-house. My husband had 1/2 turkey and pastrami sandwich and a cup of shrimp corn chowder. He said the soup had a little kick to it and was tasty. He was sorry he didn't get a full sandwich also because it was so delicious. This will be a new favorite for us!

Ordered the corned beef Reuben, but it was topped with their special Anna's sauce. I never thought to order it without the sauce since every other Reuben I've ever eaten has had either 1000 Island or Russian dressing. If you're a traditional Reuben lover like me, be sure to ask to have them make it without their own special sauce. They did re-make the sandwich in quick time and it was delicious. Also, they don't serve a dill pickle spear with the sandwich, you need to order it special. It's an additional charge as well. Add the pickle to every order. I would have given 5 stars if they used the

Stopped by while out of town. The shop is located in a strip shopping center in the UTC area. Our party had the Reuben and the Surfer. Both were fantastic. The deli was accommodating for our Keto following friends, as well. Everything was delightful! One of our guests had the potato salad which was super delicious too. No leftovers were had.

A friend reccomended this little Sandwhich shop and we decided to stop on our way out of town for the holiday.
The store was clean, the employees making food wore gloves and the smells were divine, a great sign.
All I can say is Yum. I ordered the Italianna it's a warm sandwhich, and my friend got the Villager.
The Villager has bologna, salami and swiss. I normally don't eat bologna, however, I tried a bite and it was delucious. The meats they use are on display and seem up be high quality.
I asked to have the Italianna with the Italian dressing on the side, I reccomend this to be sure you

First time visit- Great sandwich !
We ordered The Surfer - Cali style(Roast Beef instead of Ham) on Marbled rye.
Bread was super fresh on a Sunday afternoon even.
Potato salad - Ask for a side of mustard and mix it in. Yum !!!
Sign says they opened in 2012 and if you look at the ceiling you can see it’s definitely vintage 30 years old.
Time to paint the grid, replace the tiles, and replace the lights !
Great lunch......we will be back !

Meh…standard deli, but NO bacon!!!! Turkey sandwich was fresh and good. Coleslaw was loaded with pepper and tasted mediocre. I get coleslaw everywhere I can and wouldn’t order again here. Man up front has zero personality of no hello or thanks to let you know you’re done with cc payment. Second guy on sandwich line with gloves on kept on pulling up his pants and playing with clothes and continued to make food. Yuck

We decided to check out a new spot for lunch today down in Sarasota by UTC, Anna's Deli. This is a small sandwich shop tucked back in a plaza off University Parkway. It is an interesting spot in that it looks older on the inside, but it is in a newer plaza. When we arrived at 11:40, the line was already to the door. Thankfully the moved quickly and we had our order placed in about 5 minutes. I decided to go with a pastrami reuben and my buddy went with the Cuban. The best sandwich. Period. I’ve going to Anna’s since I was a kid (the former Siesta Village location) and nothing has changed ... and that’s a good thing! Whenever I am visiting from out of state and if I am going to be even remotely close to Sarasota, I make a point to come get a Surfer on marble with extra Anna’s Sauce (i.e. Magic) and extra cucumber.

I came here with a friend for lunch on a Friday, and noticed that it's got a pretty standard deli setting. You order at the cashier, grab a table, and wait for your name to be called up.
But the food was nothing but ordinary. I got The Surfer on wheat bread, which had ham, turkey, cucumber, Swiss cheese, and their special mayo-honey mustard sauce. And it was so delicious! The meats are cut so thinly, they basically melted in my mouth. And the special sauce was sooooo good and tied the sandwich together.

My favorite Anna's Deli sandwich is their Surfer, a turkey and ham sandwich with Swiss cheese, thin slices of cucumber and their special mayo based Anna Sauce. They serve it on very soft fresh round slices of bread. The pile of paper thin sliced meat is cool, which to me makes the sandwich refreshing. I don't think I have ever tried anything but the Surfer, when I find something this good I stick with it. While I seldom make it to this location, I have eaten dozens and dozens of Surfers at other locations.
