Now imagine ripping that closet out and creating a mudroom with space for a bench to sit on, cubbies for hats and mittens, hooks for coats, extra hidden storage, recessed lights, ok. Our clients were looking for storage solutions. They honestly had no idea what was in their entryway closet. I'm pretty sure they were only looking for paint color and lighting suggestions here, but I had a bigger idea in mind!

Oh what fun I had redesigning this bedroom! Grace is a sweet college student studying at Elon in North Carolina. Mum and dad wanted to give her a bedroom makeover for when she's home in the Summer and on holiday. The space was great to begin with! Like most teens rooms, it was filled with all the things.

The New Year always gets me thinking about resolutions and goals. If, like most people, you are feeling motivated to do some home projects or wondering what your home is really worth; I'm here to help! With a little imagination, you can make your home look like a pottery barn showroom. Seriously! Small projects like painting, redecorating or moving furniture are some of the easiest ways to maximize the equity in your home.
FUNCTIONAL OBSOLESCENCE: is a reduction in the usefulness or desirability of an object because of an outdated design feature, usually one that cannot be easily changed. The term is commonly used in real estate, but has a wide application. IN OTHER WORDS: Features of a home that are not practical or desirable that typically affect the price negatively.
The one stop shop for sharing "real estate, design and inspiration". While the real estate market is continually changing, there are timeless questions that I'm asked, like; What color were the walls in that house? Things I'm loving Now: From farmhouse chic to ship lap to the return of brass metal fixtures.
As a Realtor, helping families is what I do for a living. Selling homes is one way of doing this, but I'm also motivated to give back and help others do the same. Should you choose me to represent you as your Realtor I will donate a percentage of my commission to a non-profit charity of your choice.
