I’ve been trying to look for a good mechanic shop for some time now, and I found it, Hingas did an amazing gob tuning my truck and making it run nice and smooth, keeping me always informed and giving me suggestions, they also fixed my rack and pinion and my brake rotors, I would have thought this would take at least two days and they had it all fixed and ready the next day and driving perfect, I highly recommend them. Very professional, honest, knowledgeable and a great price for the great job they do. Hingas will be my to go mechanic shop

Why didn't anyone warn me of the 80$ base charge??? I was having a tow bring my car in and I guess he knew I would be trapped so he never even warned me of the 80$ base charge -.- schemey. The problem could just be a simple fuse change so I am very very upset. Don't come here. Also I told him to go ahead and work on it, I walked to a cafe I come back 3 hours later and he said i never gave him the go ahead. So wasted my whole day.

I had been having an insane over heating issue with my Durango. I went to a Pep boys near me and they halfway diagnosed the issue. I looked online and found Hinga's. All the reviews as of late have been great and gave me a boost of confidence. I called and Mr.Hinga invited me to come in. While on a cross country trip, I was sure I had a broken CV as I limped towards the Dallas area. I called Hinga about 2 hours away and they said they could take me in as soon as I arrived. To my surprise they were not only able to figure out the problem immediately, they got the new axle and installed it within a few hours! Hinga is my go-to spot for any car troubles and I highly recommend anyone to do the same. He and his staff are so kind and helpful. They're very transparent and always do what's right by the customer. This past visit, Mr. Hinga took a look at my car, made a quick fix, and told me not to worry about the cost. I know other chains would've charged me and oversold the issue for their profit. Mr. Hinga is great man and I will vouch for this place anytime!

Called around a couple of weeks before I needed the work done, and selected Hinga based on their promise they’d store it inside and have everything done in 1-2 weeks. Hinga's Auto is an EXCELLENT place to take your car. Friendly, thorough service, and fair pricing! They will NOT try to cheat you into pay more or unneeded work! My car stopped working and I had it towed to here. Turned out to be a failed transmission. Once they diagnosed the issue they worked with my extended warranty coverage for the service cost. Great workmanship from all the guys! I have used them as my regular mechanic ever since and they have done a great job with everything! Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and helped me out when I went in for a quote and said they would email a detailed quote to me so I could send to my insurance for approval. Two weeks later calling and emailing a couple of times a week I never received a quote. When I spoke on the phone, each time he said that he just forgot. I wanted to give them my business but I couldn't. I understand forgetting, it was just an unfortunate experience.

As a woman, looking for a honest auto repair shop can be extremely difficult and frustrating. There are so many places that like to take advantage of you, but not here at Hinga's. This place is a family own and operated business. Mr. Hinga and his staff were very professional and helpful. They were patient when it came to working with the insurance and ensured that I was well taken care of. The turnaround time for my repair was pretty quick. I went to Hinga's with our company van. I thought it my van wasn't going to run again. But, Hinga's shop made it happen. Top service from the moment I walked in. I got my van towed to the shop by a towing service they suggested. Then the called me immediately with a quote, very reasonable and delivered a repaired van before expected time.
They are honorable, respectful, sincere plus they do great work. I strongly recommend this Dallas classic Auto Repair Shop!

My SUV broke down in Dallas, I live in Fort Worth & had no idea where to have it towed so I went online and found 3 places within 10 miles and chose Hinga's because of the great reviews and I was not disappointed. We have been coming here for over a year now, even after Hinga's changed location. The service is outstanding! I've had my air conditioning fixed, my oil changed, and my husband's car battery issues taken care of. The price has always been reasonable and their service has been speedy. If for whatever reason they're back up, they let you know if they need to keep the car and are very accurate at letting you know when your car will be ready. We enjoy coming back every time!

I'm sorry you guys I really wish this review could have been a positive one. I read the reviews which is why I gave him a call on Tuesday June 9th requesting an estimate for my vehicle. I gave them all the details requested and I was told they would get back to me at the latest Wednesday. I even mentioned that I would like to have the work done the same week if possible. Unfortunately I never received a call back and it's been a week. I'm sure they do awesome work but it was really disappointing as a potential new customer not to receive a call back.

I came into town from San Antonio and my front tire started making a humming sound. I was pretty sure it was my bearings since I had this problem with a different tire back in SA. I show up at Hingas and he confirmed the bearings were shot. He also pointed out other problems (that I was aware of but never fixed). He answered all my questions with a confidence, given you the peace of mind that he knows what he's talking about. Hinga gives a full explanation of the issues and the potential causes.
I walked away not feeling the need to call CarTalk on NPR, the Tappet brothers have nothing on this guy!

Yesterday, I was scrambling all over North Dallas/Plano/Richardson looking for the perfect apartment. I looked high and lo, and then I finally found the one I liked. (Yay, I move next month. Raise. the. Roof. Woof.)

Mr. Hinga and crew communicated with me, charged me a great price and listened to inspirational music on my Sirius while they fixed my car. They got me a courtesy ride to work downtown right after I signed the paperwork and gave me a clear, itemized estimate and bill.
One of the parts I wanted was pricey so Mr. Hinga called me to confirm, even though I'd signed off. Courteous and thankful for my business, my oil change sticker is legible and the math was just right.
