You know the semi-mythical "honest neighborhood mechanic" that people talk of? Well this is it.
Their focus is brakes, alignment and exhaust work but they also do general repairs. If they can't do the work you need, Carlos always seems to know someone who can.
Obviously they're doing something right since they have been in business at that location for as long as I can remember and you often see classic and exotic cars there amongst the F150's and Camry's.

I took my lotus here for brakes. They insured everything they could fix. Brakes were done and still hard to press then the ABS light came on driving home from shop. Light was never on before. Called they said nothing they can do with ABS. I said your a brake shop and put brakes on and all the sudden it comes on. Paid $800 and car is more broken then when brought in. Pretty shady.

So I brought my car to get the rotors and brakes fixed awesome price and great friendly service, I brought my dog and they gave him water and snacks this was the best experience with me being a female and not knowing what I need for my car! The most honest auto repair shop I've encountered. I needed brake rotor / pad / sensor replacement on my 2013 BMW 335 and they got it done properly, quickly, and at a very fair price. Carlos was very friendly and quickly put my mind at ease. And I found out that they are a full service shop so they do more than just brakes/mufflers - will be heading back again. If you need some vehicle work done, Carlos and his team will take care of your problem and will leave you feeling good about it. Highly recommend them!

I called in a panic 2 minutes before they closed since my brakes were really jacked up and I was nervous to drive my infant home. The nice gentleman on the phone told me it was okay to stop by for them to take a look. They went ahead and replaced my brake pads on the spot. Thank you for going above and beyond for me. This place is a must go! I went into get a safety check because I moved from California to Texas, and I have no clue how to get a new license with my new last name on it, because I recently got married. Carlos was so helpful. He did the safety check on my car and told me where to go to get my car registered and get a new license.

The minute I pulled up and exited my vehicle, Carlos greeted me, said it would be about 20 minutes, showed me where to wait, took care of the inspection, cashed me out and sent me on my way. I left with the sense of satisfaction I had been treated well and taken care of.
I highly recommend Brake and Muffler to you and think you'll be very satisfied.

I had my car inspected at one of the big chains and they told me that they had noticed that I had "no pad" left on my front brakes. They said I needed to get them changed immediately and quoted me a ridiculous price. For my car, good replacement pads are around $40 and replacement rotors are around $100 each (which even if you're not a car person - it's easy enough to check on a website like autozone).

I was immediately created with a smile and a handshake. Carlos. Maybe the nicest mechanic I've ever met. He's the kind of guy, I'd go back just to talk story with. I'd find a reason.
