Dr. Ghavamian is a specialist in orthodontics for children and adults. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. After a five year doctorate program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and earning her D.M.D. degree, she continued her education at Harvard and completed a three year post doctorate specialty training program in Orthodontics combined with a Master of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Fattahi graduated from Northeastern University earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with minors in Biology and Business. He went on to study dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D).
Dr. Kyle Holmberg Vining practices preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He provides compassionate care for all of his patients while delivering high-quality general dentistry treatments. He graduated from Northwestern University earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Mary Ghattas is a Pediatric Dentist who completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), and her specialty training program in Pediatrics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, she received The Jack and Anne, D75P, Endowed Senior Prize Award in Pediatric Dentistry. She also received her hospital training at Tufts Medical Center and The Franciscan Hospital for Children.

I found Brookline Dental Specialists recently and booked a cleaning with Dr. Katrina Torres. She was very friendly and seems highly knowledgeable about dentistry. The hygienist was unavailable that morning so Dr. Torres performed the exam and cleaning herself. She was very gentle and thorough. The office was clean and surprisingly large! If you have kids, some of the rooms are set up specifically for them with kid friendly colors and chairs. Really cute. Would highly recommend.

I can't thank Dr G. and the rest of the Brookline Dental staff for the work that they've done. I was always hesitant to go through ortho because of the complexity of the work that I needed done and the nightmare stories I've heard about how long it takes for results. I realized now that those stories were simply told because those people hadn't gone to Dr G.
If you're looking for an honest, professional, straight to the point and quite honestly a miracle worker, Dr G and her team is who you want to see. From the first time I visited the office I never felt like I was misinformed

I usually hate going to the dentist however, the team at brookline dental specialists changed my view. Here is what i love about it:
1. very competent friendly specialists
2. efficient - i've maybe waited max 2 minutes to get seated for my appt
3. convenient hours - they have weekend visits if you can't make it during the weekdays

Been coming here since I was 5 years old. Everybody is incredibly kind and professional and they work fast and courteously! I highly recommend if you've never felt "at home" at a dentist office then this place will be a pleasant surprise for you. Honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. They were fabulous when they were on Beacon St and they have carried their excellence on to the new location.

Dr Fattahi and Mariam always provide the best care and are excellent at walking me through the technical/medical jargon. They are not upfront with their billing and charged us 5 times what they originally quoted for a copay for a filling. Also when my son had a "dead tooth", the hygienist came out to speak with us instead of the dentist!
When we needed an endodontist, they referred us somewhere and told us we had to return for the whitening step----so they could charge for that!!! It could all be done at the same time!

This dentist office used to be run smoothly and does still have a pro of having great hygienists, but besides that, the practice is all over the place. The dentists are very brief with you and don't listen well to patient needs. If you have any sort of dental anxiety and need a dentist with empathy, this is not the place for you! They tend to do more harm than fixing dental needs when doing even simple procedures such as fillings. The dentists also change frequently and never inform patients! The front desk staff seem disorganized with scheduling and billing - they've gotten appointments

The location is great (free parking available & steps away from the C line). The staff & doctors were all friendly and professional! This was my first visit to the dentist in over a year, and I was worried about coming because I've been to other practices where they give you a hard time; thankfully this was not my experience here!

Dr Garbrilowitz, was fantastic. On our next dentist appt, she was mysteriously gone. Nothing in terms of anything from this office to inform us. Very disappointing.
The front desk staff is very lacking.You call. Leave a message for a dentist to call you back. Nothing. Zilch. They also can't get their billing correct.
If you use this place, double check everything. Who you are seeing. What date you are scheduled for. What the cost of whatever procedure you are having is going to be and finally what you are billed.
We'll be leaving.

Two years ago I spent a long time looking for a dentist around Boston and finally settled on Brookline Dental Specialists. I've been coming ever since. Everyone here is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and prompt. I've never had to wait when I have an appointment and it's never hard to get in to see them. I'm very pleased with the service I've gotten and would recommend them to anyone.

As a new patient of this practice and one with considerable "dental anxiety" I give this place 5 wisdom teeth! My hygienist, Miriam, was in a word, awesome. She inquired in a non-judgmental way about my past experiences to find the root (canal) of my problem. Reassuring me that my hygiene and routine were actually quite good and making sure I was comfortable during the entire two hours I was there for the new patient visit, which included a series of x-rays, a cleaning, and an exam by the dentist. All in all, I can't wait to return and I never thought I would ever say that!

I just took my 3.5 year old to see Dr. Gabrilowitz and it was such a great visit. She was so good at building rapport with my son by giving him small choices to make and giving him control of the dental suction; she patiently waited for his answers and I could tell that he felt like a big boy!
This was his second visit and she cleaned the food out of his teeth, polished them and applied some kind of vitamin lacquer. My kid enjoyed his visit and is looking forward to the next one in six months. I highly recommend Dr. Gabrilowitz!

I have been a patient here for about 2 years now. I initially went because I was looking for a dentist that accepted my insurance (my current dentist did not). Beginning this year, I have now switched over to them (Dr. Fattahi) completely after getting a better dental insurance! I love the office staff. They are very professional. I have had 2 different hygienist since I have started (I go for semi annual cleanings). I have recommended the office to my little nephew (now 5yr) for his first cleaning 2 years and he loved.
Parking is great here, never an issue! They see you promptly.

I strongly recommend this office for dental and orthodontic services. The orthodontist Dr Ghavamian is sweet, knowledgable and a true professional, so as her team of assistants and staff. Dr. Shokoohi is a master in handling little kids and performing dentistry on children without them figuring out what is going on. His sweet and caring character as well as his knowledge and professionalism creates an environment for the kids to relax and enjoy their treatment.

Cons: If you are a parent looking for ortho treatment for your children in the area and work full time and actually don't like for your children to miss school, then DO NOT go here. Scheduling is impossible. The ortho doctor has very very limited hours and usually only available in the morning when children are in school. She goes on vacation all the time (nothing wrong with vacation once in a while) but there are no other ortho doctors to cover so again, scheduling is very cumbersome. When you try to complain, then you get big attitudes from staff
