As a patient for many years, I have only ever known Dr. Kornfeld to maintain the utmost discretion and care in all matters. He is highly skilled, well connected to other specialists throughout California and most of all, has a most kind and considerate bedside manner. I don't know what the above person is referring to but it sounds second-hand at best and I suspect that it has little to nothing to do with Dr. K. In any case, this has been my experience and so I felt compelled to share it.

I would never recommend that anyone go to this doctor for treatment for addiction. After being overmedicated by him for 5 months under his care I wound up in the ER from being given too much phenobarbital and then a month later back in a detox and rehab. Overmedication is his hallmark

Pathetic how a "doctor" allowed anyone to know of his work with a famous patient. Did you get your 15 minutes? Are you proud? Disgusting ethics!!!!

He effectively killed Prince. I wouldn't be reviewing him here if I didn't have a personal experience with this doctor many years ago. Dr. Kornfelds handling of this case, sending his son to do his bidding (a non-medical professional) was gross mis-handling of a medical crisis.
