Melva has more than twenty years of experience in nursing, supervision and homecare. Her decision to begin Adult Home Care birthed from professional collaboration in these areas.
ACC Adult Home Care tailors our in-home non-medical home care services to assist our clients with their Activities of Daily Living; a physician's order is not needed. Activities of daily living are routine activities that most people take for granted and that people tend to do every day without needing assistance.

My 85 year old father had an accident and required around the clock care for approximately 4 weeks. With me being his only child I couldn’t do it alone and needed help. I met with Melva and she was able to provide us with home care aides almost immediately. The aides were professional, trustworthy, caring, courteous and efficient. They did everything we asked of them and more and my father enjoyed their care and company. Overall the experience was outstanding. Highly recommended

I can’t say enough about how much ACC Adult Home Care means to our family. We started receiving services for Mom in 2015 and just recently moved her to assisted living. As Mom’s physical disabilities became more pronounced over the past six years, ACC was always there and provided the care she needed, especially as hours increased. In addition to phenomenal daily care, ACC took care of doctor visits, hospitalizations, hair appointments…you name it! They took care of it all, even the scheduling of such appointments and

We would highly recommend ACC Adult Comfort Care of Vermilion. They did a wonderful job caring for our mother and keeping us all up to date and informed. Melva and her staff have cared for my mother, in her home, for over 2 years on a 24 hour basis. Melva and her staff are professional, caring, and dependable.
