We stopped here at 50 West Vineyards. I like the setup with the 50, not sure what it all means. We didn't do a flight and just selected a wine that we thought that we may like. I had the Chambourcin and my wife had the Vidal Blanc. They were both yummy. It was a great November day to sit out in the vineyard and try some wine.

I enjoyed the setup, they had a 1 man band performing, nice vineyard, places all over to sit and enjoy wine. It was small inside the facility.

The customer service was exceedingly poor. We showed up at 5:30 (their voicemail said they were open until 7:00) and after having to search for someone to help us, we were told that the winery closed at 6. Despite the fact that there was still 30 minutes, the server clearly did not want to help us. She told us that we could have a self guided tasting and very obviously was not willing to lead us through a tasting. She repeatedly told us that we needed to leave by 6. At 6:02, she walked to our table and said that she could see we just had a couple sips left and that she was sorry but we needed to

Went there Monday afternoon with my friends . Asked for mulled wine . It was warm but the taste was just not good at all . Plus it costs $12 per glass . Don't mind paying that price provided the mulled wine tasted good . Don't buy that mulled wine .

Only reason for the 4 stars is because it's not really a winery. You'll see the "clubhouse" is actually a house made into a sitting place. Even the bedrooms have a random table, which is nice if you want an intimate setting. This is a good place to go in the winter if you get in early, if you get here later in the day everything will be full. 5 star wine, 5 star service, 5 star staff, just a small facility.

Food was good, wine was not up to par. Could barely drink a sip from any of them. Customer service was lacking as well, feels too business like then welcoming. And too many flies, couldn’t enjoy or time without swatting every 2 seconds. Would not recommend.

We had my daughter's bridal shower at 50 West Vineyards and I cannot say enough about this venue. The event planners & day-of support were fantastic. The location is breathtaking and the room where we held the party was private, had plenty of seating arrangements, a private bathroom, use of kitchen area and tons of windows for natural light. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

For the positives, the view was fantastic and they had a nice guitar player out on this Sunday afternoon. There was plenty of space, including a separate area you can reserve. However, the wine was overpriced and served far too warm for Vidal blanc and rosé, which is disappointing because otherwise the rosé would have been delicious and pleasantly fruity. They served their wine in plastic cups, which ruins the experience and is too wasteful. They only had porta-potties instead of real toilets, which looks like it might be temporary. If you want to enjoy the view, it might be worth a trip, but

Spacey winery with solid if unspectacular wines. All wines in the tasting left us unimpressed except for the chambourcin which was a light but spicy red wine. Ambiance is great with live music, outside food allowed as well as pets. Proximity to middleburg is a plus and more low key than other wineries in the area.

Immediately could tell a difference from the other wineries. The people at the front were very social and nice. They had live music, social distant and lots of room. Prices where very reasonable and they gave us samples, others were not. Sangria and rose are bomb.

Beautiful scenery, delicious wines, and lots of outdoor tables. We grabbed a picnic table with comfortable Adirondack chairs. They were plastic but still comfortable to sit it. And really easy to move as we relocated our table for extra safe social distancing. They attended to the fire and kept it going. We brought our own food and enjoyed two bottles of white with another couple. Perfect activity, pandemic or no pandemic.

No one is able to ship my last 3 orders when requested. No one responded to my emails for the first 4 weeks of trying. No one called back. 6 weeks later.... Kevin stated that my membership orders would be shipped. Two weeks later, nothing. Emailed Kevin again to request to cancel and ship my last 3 orders. Nothing. Emailed Kevin again; membership cancelled. NOW the issue is where is my last 3 orders??? Requested for shipment now for almost 8 weeks. No wine. No refund. NO RESPONSE. So here I am... writing a bad review. How can it be so hard? Sharing my experience. Oh well.

Felt completely safe visiting yesterday during COVID. There were self-guided wine flights (in covered plastic cups!), sangria, and bottle sales, and the kitchen was open! The seating was well-spaced and plentiful, and there was a cooler of complimentary water.

What a great experience! Didn't know what to expect with covid going on, but took a chance. We went on a Saturday around 3pm with a party of 8. When pulling up, noticed it was crowded but found two picnic tables to the left under some trees. We felt far and distant enough to be safe yet could still hear the live music playing. There were other distant picnic tables under trees too, so there were plenty! With the pandemic, they aren't any flights or tasting except a self guided one, which when we saw it, was small. So we got 4 amazing bottles instead. Only criticism is I wish there was

I really enjoyed coming out to this winery. It has a gorgeous interior, really nice views, great service and of course wine. The allow for a really relaxed environment for you to sit and enjoy with your family or friends. The tastings are a little expensive but on par with other wineries in the area.

I really like this winery. I was disappointed that they had sold out of their Rosé that I tried at King Street Oyster Bar, but otherwise it was a great visit. The view is great even from inside, and they had a wonderful performer providing live music. It's a smaller winery, but I like its wall to wall windows and low key vibe.
This winery is always a stop on my list in the winter as well since they have a great mulled wine.

I've been to Chrysalis several times and was a member once upon a time and so I would always see signs for 50 West but never popped in until this past weekend. With unseasonably warm winter weather several us headed out to finally try 50 West.

It was easy to get to, just past Aldie (coming from DC) and had a beautiful vista. It was a bit chilly up there with nothing to block the little wind that was there--it was just cold enough that we opted to enjoy wine inside. If they had fire pits or heat lamps I would not have hesitated to just park outside in the sun and have more room for my son

This is one of our favorite local wineries and it should be one of yours too.
50West is putting out some of the nicest wines in Northern Virginia, so there's that. Even if they weren't, this winery is one of the nicest spots to go on the weekends for live entertainment, picnics and views of the surrounding hills and spectacular sunsets.
The tasting room is housed in a two story stable with plenty of comfortable seating both indoors and out, upstairs and down.
Highly recommend upstairs in the winter, it's less crowded plus the smell of baking bread is mouthwatering and oh

Beautiful views, good wine. Friendly staff and free Tesla destination charger. Tasting menu when we visited was a little light on reds and favored the white wines but the wines were well balanced and enjoyable. You can subtly see their interest in the environment by looking at the bird development they encourage.

Ricki was so nice to us! On our second trip back to 50W she remembered us and the particular wine we drank (we had forgotten...). This time around we chose to go to the club house instead of the General tasting area — a more quiet and intimate experience! The story is that this house turned tasting room was built by a Frank Lloyd Wright protege and moved to this site in 1985 — really interesting! So, it is a mid-century Modern house that you can enjoy and explore while drinking some really great wine and having some exquisite snacks — try the bread basket with the fresh mozzarella cheese

Pretty little wine tasting room at 50 West!

When I arrived - the downstairs tasting area was packed! So I patiently waited for the tasting counter to open up. After about 10 minutes of waiting - a lady came over to me to tell me that I need to go upstairs. I had looked up there when I first arrived - and was told the upstairs was closed. But then they "opened" it to accommodate all of the new traffic that had just arrived.

The upstairs area is quite cozy. I tasted all of the wines on hand - and asked a lot of questions about the winery from the young lady who was pouring my wine. She
