The Zissios family journey began in the scenic mountains of Greece when co-owner Yianni (John) Zissios started making wine with his grandfather at the age of 9. What started as tradition turned into a passion. Memories of winemaking inspired the Zissios family to bring their legacy to the Shenandoah Valley so they could share their family trade with you!
Blue Valley produces wine varietals best suited to the climate and soil of the Virginia vineyard. These include Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Muscat Ottonel. All the grapes are crushed and fermented on-site in our 10,000 square feet production facility.
The Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery wedding venue offers multiple wedding and celebration spaces, each sure to provide the most memorable vineyard experience. Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery offers various sized and themed Virginia corporate event spaces suitable for any type corporate event from team building to hosted award ceremonies.
Blue Valley produces wine varietals best suited to the climate and soil of the Virginia vineyard. 100% Estate grown, this wine has good balance and aromatics with hints of green apple and melon. Fresh and fruity, this medium bodied red has a nice acidity with notes of raspberries, black cherry, plum, and violet with a slight earthiness.

Spectacular view from every window in the massive tall, newly renovated clubhouse. The staff were very kind and informative. We enjoyed our visit. It’s beautifully situated on rolling hills with panoramic views. Four stars because they served mostly dry wines. The sweetest is the Remembrance at 2.4%. It was tasty. The entree item we ordered was a bit disappointing on its presentation and taste. We have been finding this across the country. The service industry is just leaving off important little extras possibly because of staffing issues. We ordered the mozzarella with olive oil. It was brought

This past weekend we had our daughters Wedding here. The views were breathtaking and the service was great. Linda the wedding coordinator and the staff we very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect. My daughter & my son in law were so happy and the pictures are amazing.Our guest are still talking about how beautiful it was. Went to see Special Occasions Band, scheduled a wine tasting out of curiosity.The wine tasting was fun and interesting.... The gentleman was great at educating us. We bought one of the bottles we sampled and one we didn't and enjoyed them both. There was a young woman and a gentleman who found us chairs for the show--- 5 additional guests who followed us out there. They were both welcoming and accommodating. We later met the two owners, both were warm and welcoming.
The scenery there is breathtaking. I mean really beautiful and serene. Following the thunderstorm it sparkled and glittered.
