Sarah Parks is the founder and principal of Custom Estate Planning. She graduated from George Mason School of Law (Arlington, Virginia) and joined the Virginia State Bar in 1993. Sarah also has an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (Washington, DC). Sarah founded Custom Estate Planning in 1995.
When do I need a Will? You need a Will (short for Last Will and Testament) when you have property that you would like to pass to specific people (referred to as beneficiaries or heirs) at your death. The Will expresses your wishes about how your property will pass. 2. What happens when I die and I have a Will?
