Raleigh Autocare has been servicing all our vehicles for over 12 years. Tim and his crew have always been professional and up front, and have never pressured us into getting more work done then is actually needed. We fully support small independent shops and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fair and honest place to have their vehicles serviced.

We have had all of our cars serviced here for countless years. When we moved here we were looking for a local mechanic that came recommended that was honest, trustworthy and affordable. We've had regular maintenance & major car repairs done here over the years. Always with prompt attention to our needs. The entire staff is like a family & they make you feel like you're part of their family.

Had a flat tire that I needed help changing so went through my insurance for roadside assistance. They dispatched this company. First time I called to inquire about the wait, they stated 45 minutes. Called almost an hour later only to be told an additional 25 minutes. By the third call I was fuming and barely got out the make/model of my car before they said their driver was right around the corner. Only reason they're getting 2 stars is because once the mechanic arrived, helped me change my tire and load the old one into my car in less than 5 minutes. He was extremely professional, the two

Tim and his team are always on the ball when it comes to my vehicles. They're knowledgeable, prompt and transparent with their explanation of the service required to repair my cars. A reliable auto repair shop is an important resource to have on hand. I'm glad to have found them!

Tim and Josh are great to work with. They kept me up to date on the repairs and timeframe constantly. They worked directly with my insurance company so I didn't have to bother being in the middle. They even knew my car was in an accident before I even told them and reached out to me first. Repairs were made and after they test drove it, they even fixed one more thing until they were completely satisfied with all the work before letting me pick it up.

If you're looking for quality auto repairs, look no more. This friendly shop is the real deal. I've taken several of my cars to Raleigh Autocare for the simple stuff (oil changes, alignments, etc), and the more complex auto repair (they rebuilt my '71 Camaro engine). I feel I can trust this shop with any and all work performed, and it's always at a reasonable cost. From the time you walk in the door, you'll find the staff speaks to you like they know you, and you're treated as a respectful customer. I'd recommend their shop and team to anyone who is looking

These guys are GREAT! I have a highly modified 2000 Toyota MR2 and in two hours they were able to diagnose and repair a serious performance issue that had baffled and vexed at least three other shops, including the Fred Anderson Toyota dealership. The car is fun to drive again and running better than ever. I finally found a place I can trust to take good care of my odd little daily driver.

This company is a rip off. I brought my carin to have them repair an evap system code error. (Code P0455 EVAP Large Leak Detected)

1st trip - claimed they fixed it with a new hose. $148

2nd trip - claimed no leaks found and blamed the gas cap. $99

Puchaed gas cap $30 (Jeep mfg just to be sure).

Code continued to keep the check engine light on until it burt out the check engine light on dash. So needed reapir to pass inspection.

Went to another mechanic, who confirmed that the hose did have a leak and it was never replaced. He replaced rhe hose and repaired the check engine light for $144.79

I've been getting my cars serviced at Raleigh AutoCare for almost 20 years. My first experience with them was related to the fact that at that time they did warranty work for CarMax and I was always pleased with the results. But the kicker that really earned my continued business was when I had originally taken my car to Midas on Glenwood Ave. for a brake job. I go an estimate from Midas of approximately $700 which included new drums and pads on all four wheels. Seeing how they had recently done this with our other car, I was immediately skeptical (love places that lure you in with a low

I went to Raleigh Autocare because I needed an oil change, and to get my state inspection done. Our van recently passed 110k miles, and I was also anxious to see if it needed any additional work due to its high mileage.

When I arrived and stated what I needed, they got started very promptly (within 10 minutes of arrival, the car was in the workshop with the hood up). I could observe everything they were doing through big windows from the waiting area/office- a typical space hosting a checkout desk, semi-comfy padded leather chairs, a coffee table with today's paper & some manly magazines

I like 'em. The owner is a real "car guy" and will chat about all manner of two and four wheeled oddities. His wrenches are good guys, and he's got a few really crack mechanics that are world-class, in my opinion. I brought the Mercedes there a few times - once for fairly routine stuff and another time for a rear differential seal. They did good work both times and charged reasonably for it. I have no problem recommending them.
