The amenities (washer, dryer, oven, stovetop, microwave, tv) are great, the space and lighting in the rooms are friendly, and theres a lot of natural light.
However, any complaints or work orders take up to a month to be filled out if they’re not an emergency to be fixed within the hour, and the water pressure and temperature changes depending on an unknown variable.
Essentially, the space is good but any problems take forever to be solved.

Edge is really clean and has a very sleek modern design. There's plenty of storage in the built in cabinets of every room and the views from the 14th floor are pretty nice. Apart from that its not great :( There are no openable windows for airflow, the management is constantly changing without warning, and during winter, hot water wasn't available for a bit. I find that above all else, Edge truly suffers from management issues and communication.

I usually hate the moving in process at other apartments apartments, they are always pretty complicated and the staff always seem like they don’t want to do their job in my opinion, but I moved into Edge the end of last week, and it was the smoothest experience I’ve had so far thanks to Adrian. From day 1 of me filling out my application, he called me the same day. When I came in for my tour he was very informative and enthusiastic. Kept me updated as far as the status of my application, and when move in day came he made sure everything was in order. So far my experience here has been great

This apartment place is in a great location in the middle of providence , easy access to downtown providence and Thayer street as well. The Utilities are very modern and nice . The apartment themselves have amazing built in storage that comes in handy! Only con would be that the appliances are really fragile .

This place is very nice to live in, the appliances and rooms are all very new and clean. There is an excellent view out of the window, and the maintenance and staff here are very friendly and helpful. I've had my smoke alarm run out of battery and got it fixed immediately after calling maintenance. And recently they added lobby staff that notify you when packages get delivered making it very convenient and reassuring. Overall, it has been a very pleasant experience!

I put in a request for maintenance and drastically have to change my opinion. First I didn't get any responses

Really annoying. Originally the person told me that they were able to extend my stay for Edge. But apparently that wasn't the case with the Edge policy. The girl was fired for false information. However, I was left with finding a different place before moving. Really unreliable. I think its very irresponsible of Edge to just fire her and tell tenants that its not their fault so unable to do anything about it. There are other errors such as windows that does not open. AC that you cannot not control. (Can only control to turn on and off). With no windows, the microwave vents the stove but that vent

My room stays between 80-85 degrees. No human can withstand that temperature all day for weeks. I have a pet who cannot handle it. The windows don't even open. And all they say is "sorry we can't help" (mind you that's after about 4 unanswered calls within a week). Ridiculous. Terrible place to live.

Biggest mistake. An expensive property has been stolen from my seperate studio in my absence and no one other than me has keys! The police is investigating but cold reaction and downplayed by management. Move at your own risk!! Had maintainance issue around the same time

I've lived at Edge for about a year now, and just from my experience the staff manager changed 2-3 times without any warning (which is fine, but very hectic and they misplace notes all the time). The small space is fine also and most times, everything works okay except the water (cold showers are very frequent here). My washer/dryer never broke though, which is one plus!
All of the furnishings that come with the room are very cheap, which I don't mind personally. But upon my move in day, the table was missing 2 screws (which took weeks to get fixed for some reason), the chairs were

My door lock is not working well since the first day I moved in, I put that on my checking list, but they never fixed it. The door lock was finally broken today, and I got locked out, all my belongs including my phones, IDs are in the room. It's 20 degrees outside today, and I don't have any jackets. I just got locked out! I went to the office, the manager said she's gonna walk to my room and let me in, I waited in the lobby for half an hour and she never came, so I went to the office again, found she already left. An OK apartment with a horrible managing team. The manager specifically told me not to write a bad review, but I don't think that's a legitimate thing to ask. I am only writing an honest review with facts, so people can take this as a reference.
I lived in the Edge College Hill for 1 year and was able to witness and experience all the goods and the bads, a lot of it being the bads. As a person who gives five stars reviews 99 percent of the time, I will explain why Edge is only worth 1 star and why people should not live there.

Well done Edge. As the manager said, "we gave a key fob to UPS". But the truth is one key fob doesn't work if the drivers have to share it. Also, the leasing office promise they will receive all the packages from Amazon. However, the office is closed at 6pm (they don't have 24/7 accessible mailroom or front desk), which is terrible :(

I always pay my rent on time and I don't get AC. They promise many things they are not giving. My room is 84F and the AC is definitely not working, they sent an email saying the AC was on, but it isn't. The hallways are super hot and smells bad. There's always trash on the floor and the building as a whole never smells good. Don't sign to live here.

I've been living here since September 2017. I'm in the older part of the property, and I really like my studio unit. It has many windows and high ceiling, the bathroom is large with a tub and its own large window. The street used to get noisy on summer weekends, but I didn't hear the nightclub from my unit. Recently, in response to many residents' complaints, there was a petition organized by the management and signed by some residents. The night club is now shut down.

Rent an apartment at Edge at your own risk. The management told me there are 'subtle differences' between apartments but when I moved in I realised that some people don't even have windows in their apartments. It was like living in a basement. I have had an issue with hot water since the beginning and the issue has still not been fixed. There are leaks in the wall and malfunctioning appliances.

The building is next to a loud club which i was never told about. I am paying the same rent as other tenants with bigger units. There was a fire once and the fire alarm did not go off. The walls are very thin i hear my neighbour. The windows do not open and the ventelation is very bad. The list continues! Many people here are unhappy and plan to move out.
