Services
Milford-Franklin Counseling Services, Inc. was established by Sandy Greenwald, LICSW in 1986. Since then the professional staff has grown to approximately 30 experienced, highly qualified therapists. In a comfortable and supportive setting, the therapists provide the tools for making better decisions, resolving problems and improving relationships.
Our services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Insurance usually pays most of the fee. People often have a co-payment. It's best to call your insurance company to learn what your benefits are. We do our best to keep this list up to date, but because insurance plans are constantly changing we encourage you to contact us if your coverage is not on our list.

I went to Milford-Franklin Counseling Services because it was near my place of work, and two friends had recommended it. My first good impression was that my therapist started and ended on time, so I could trust that I wouldn’t overrun my lunch break.
I went there having a variety of challenges. My
therapist helped me sort things out, piece by piece, until life became more manageable and I could enjoy myself again. I hadn’t thought that
possible. I highly recommend this place.

Very upset with our experience here. We expressed we wanted to be seen. They put us on a wait list and then called and said a spot opened up. I told the woman we would take it but since It was so short notice would we start following week. She said she didn't know and would call me next day. I called the following morning to check in and was told the spot was taken. Why would they give our spot away when we said yes to begin with???? Its very unprofessional and they didn't have an explanation. I wouldn't deal wit this place again just from this experience. I am very angry and upset. Don't bother

I love this place. My doctor referred me for a family issue that was troubling me. I got an appointment right away, and they have been nothing but professional, supportive, and respectful. My counselor is easy to get in touch with, provides constructive feedback, and has been truly caring and compassionate. She has changed my outlook on life.

I'd like to be able to say that I was rating the services of the counselors and therapists however I was put on a waiting list in late August 2016 and told it would be about 6 to 8 weeks before there was opening. I called back every 3 to 4 weeks for the first 5 months to keep checking in and updating my information. When I called in March there had been a turnover in staff and my name had disappeared from the wait list. At that time I was added back on it. When I called at the end of May I was once again off the list and told it would be at least three months before the new staff was certified
