Indexed Universal Life (IUL) insurance policies are a relatively new 'hybrid' product that insurance companies offer, combining the best aspects of the fixed whole life and the variable life insurance. The main distinguishing feature of this type of life insurance is that it allows you to invest the cash value in index options that follow the movement of an index, such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500.
If you are not currently enrolled in either a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) or a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) you can enroll, and you cannot be declined. If you are already enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) or a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) you can switch to a different plan or company.
Medicare helps you get the coverage you need, but you should expect to pay some of the costs. If you choose Medicare Part A and Part B, you'll find gaps in the coverage. Many people enroll in a Medicare Advantage, Part D Prescription Drug and/or a supplemental plan to help pay for the costs and benefits that aren't covered by Original Medicare.

JR was very helpful in shopping around for different insurance plans, and finding a perfect fit for me as a self-employed business owner.
He's a lot of fun to work with too, he has large repertoire of jokes that he loves to share. Much more fun than your standard health insurance agent. I highly recommend him!

J R has gone above and beyond the standard of help. He has not only been patient with me, but has used his peripheral skills to tackle some difficult situations in getting me health insurance. To note, he's stuck on the phone for me for hours to resolve payment and customer service issues; towards the end of the phone calls he showed empathy towards my frustration in the process. J R isn't just working with a client, he is working within humanity to understand the problem and what needs to be taken care of. I HIGHLY recommend this man of integrity!!! :)

It has been a pleasure working with JR Gillespie on finding the best health, dental, and vision insurance to meet the needs of my husband and me upon our retirement. JR is a highly knowledgeable insurance broker who helped guide me through the "thicket" that is Medicare. He explained, in clear language, what my options were for A, B, D & the additional supplement I ended going with. He understood what was important to me in terms of coverage and what the best, most cost-effective policies were for me.Since he's a broker, he sells all kinds of policies from many different companies, so he's not trying to push one company's offerings. He works for you—and your best interests—not an insurance company's. Plus he's a super-nice guy. Highly recommended.
