Ive been here many times. The only thing I like about this place is the perfect ambiance and the vino. Ive tried their coffees but Im just not a fan of it. Ive tried their iced mocha coffee, the hot mocha...its ok coffee. Cant really taste the coffee flavor Im looking for. But the wine is great. Their service is always slow though. It takes forever to place an order if youre not with a large party & no one really comes to check on us. However, it was a busy night so I understand theyre probably short staffed and super busy. This is a great hangout for a late night meal on Fridays and Saturdays at a European Cafe. The caprese panini was delicious. Every time I eat here, no matter what I order, it is good. I also love their almond roca toffee latte. It is more coffee than dessert. It is not over sweetened with sugar like American coffee drinks. It's so nice to not worry about going into a diabetic coma when you order coffee. I also like having the option to sit outdoors in the open air. The waitress was very sweet and fast with our order.

Very rude owner and there is no such thing as customer service here. We were a party of 8 and 6 of us ordered something. One of the two who didn't has an allergy and couldn't have any of the desserts. She forced both to order a $3.50 8oz bottle of water because they were "busy" and we took up seats. They were not busy at all.
I would not recommend this establishment to anyone after the way they treated us. The owner told us to "go to a park" if we want to gather somewhere without ordering. Even though 6/8 did. I hope that extra $7 was worth losing customers as I will

This is a nice place for an after work snack, first time meet up, or a get away. Nicely tucked in to the neighborhood it’s almost reminiscent of a Parisian cafe. If you have time to kill of just want a slow enjoyable meal this is a good selection. They are limited with staff but the employees that are there are VERY hospitable and hardworking. Go easy on them after all they did show up even during a pandemic. 😷

So we came over this afternoon. Also one thing I wanted to clarify is that this is a Bulgarian cafe. European cafes aren’t really the type of cafes where you eat fast and then go, they like for you to take your time. So it’s not like the waiter is going to come in like 15 seconds he will more likely come in 15 min or so. Just clarification, I actually got this gentleman with a tattoo on his wrist and he had short dreads(he’s on the photo). He was very respectful, professional, and made us feel very comfortable. So if you want the nice one then come at like 5ish-5:30. The only reason for 4

I was in town and didn't want to go to the usual Starbucks. Astoria was within walking distance of my hotel, so that was where I went. I walked in and it was quite busy with tables both inside and outside. An employee let me know I could make a to-go order at the coffee bar, so I headed over and ordered an iced turtle. The drink was okay- the syrups fell straight to the bottom as they weren't mixed with the warm espresso before the ice was added.

Fourth time here. Have enjoyed the experience every time. Food and drinks are great, good variety, balance of both savory and sweet. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor better in the winter. Tonight was a warm summer evening so we sat outside. Only downside to outdoor seating is it is smoking friendly so can be a challenge when not wanting to be around that as there are usually at least one or two table of people smoking. But otherwise great place to hang out and relax and spend a few hours enjoying drinks (whether you want coffee or tea or alcohol or both).

The perfect small cafe on corner. It’s so cute, you’d definitely want to visit. I went there on a Sunday afternoon to work alone, and the place is very nice and comfortable. The music is great, and it gives you a feel of those small Italian street cafes which you see in the movies. Waitress were very welcoming and the food was delicious too! Would definitely take my friends there!

Wow! Surprised this place even has 3.5 stars. I had the day off and was hoping to grab a nice meal and a few drinks. My drink took 35 mins and my food took 45 mins... that's just too long for a drink and some eggs. The eggs were sold as over easy which is a joke. I'm a single dude that can make a better breakfast. It's embarrassing how slow and awful this place is.
Waitress was nice but they were not attentive. I felt like they didn't want to make eye contact as they knew how slow and awful this care is.

I love this place! Our server Paige was amazing!! So sweet and she made sure we had everything we needed.
We'd never been on this side of Addison and everything was great. Beautiful patio with lots of trees. A great place to catch up on work or hangout with friends. I will definitely be coming back!

Eating brunch with a friend.. As we had a four legged companion with us, finding a place seemed like it was going to be a hindrance. However we found this place in near Addison Circle Park with outdoor seating.
I got the Astoria Club Panini. It's a mix of their deli meats; Ham, Turkey, Corned Beef, and Genoa Salami with Mozzarella, Lettuce, and Tomatoes. The bread was nicely toasted and crispy, but the insides of of the sandwich were not heated because of it. Thus the mozzarella did not melt. But I did like that the tomato was not cooked/mushy. I didn't expect my experience to be so horrible. I wanted to write a positive review, however the overall experience was so deflating. Astoria is in a perfect location. When you sit down outside, you have a feeling of being in Paris. That feel is in short the best it gets. We waited for at least 14 minutes just to get someone to ask us what we wanted to drink.
