In August of 1995, my mother Pam Christon & I opened Jen's Place. Our idea was to serve some of our favorite homemade recipes to the nearby business community. Immediately, Jen's was a hit. People fell in love with our food, our friendly service & our clean, bright environment. Today, Jen's Place is still family-owned & operated.

E-Mail orders welcomed, we will call to confirm the order within 30 minutes of receiving it during normal business hours. If your order is not going to be served within 15 minutes, or your guests will not all be eating at the same time, we do recommend renting Warming Trays. We accept all Credit Cards.

I got the trio salad to go with chicken salad, pasta salad and fruit salad. Everything was delicious! I also got the lemon bar, which on it's own I'd give it maybe 2 or 3 stars. It's as tart as a bottle of lemon juice and you can't taste the crust. Only the powdered sugar adds some balance, but not enough.
There's a lot of parking but it can be hard to find a spot still during lunch hour.
I was still in and out in less than 5 minutes and the service was friendly and attentive. I ordered at the counter, got my drink, and then my food was ready. I'll be back, but not for the lemon bar lol

The food at Jen's is amazing! Cafeteria style where you run down the aisle and pick what you want. The staff is always friendly and the serving sizes are perfect. Everyday has great specials. This is a great place for business lunches. I've had breakfast and lunch here and both are absolutely incredible!

Short review because I'm now ill.
Meatloaf was almost rare.
Pasta salad had "turned".
Black eye peas were unsalted.
Roll was underdone.
Mashed potatoes were excellent, though.
Live near here and eaten here many times and have eaten catered meals from Jen's; some good, some bad; none made me sick before today.
Two stars instead of one because of friendly staff, inspiring decor, and mashed potatoes.

Food looks great, but I won’t be supporting the restaurant out of principal because of their attitude toward other businesses in the area. Threatening to tow or ticket cars parked for DIVA games across the street when the restaurant is closed feels very petty. Doubly so when other businesses in the area have agreed to allow parking access when they are closed.

Absolutely love Jen's! Every time I'm in Dallas a stop to Jen's is a must. Not only is Jen's quick and easy everything I've eaten has been spectacular. The portions are great and everything is fresh made. I especially love the memories I have there because it was always the place I went with my great aunt and uncle while visiting. My great uncle passed recently and all I can think of is their chicken and rice soup that was his favorite.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The color scheme is simple yet elegant. The food presentation is absolutely beautiful and the taste is divine! The smells from the kitchen of the food being prepared smells wonderful! The building space It seems small on the outside but opens up big on the inside. I absolutely love all the quotes on the walls for positive vibes and energy. Floor layout is well kept and spaced appropriately. The place is immaculate in cleanliness, organization and presentation. I highly recommend anyone to come and enjoy Jen's place for breakfast or lunch. You will not regret

Went here for lunch after a coworker brought in their strawberry cake for a birthday (soooooo good), and was not disappointed.
I hade their Greek Chicken wrap with vegetable soup as a side. Both were delicious and service was fast. Ordering seemed a little confusing, but their team was really helpful with instructions.
Loved how many options their menu had.
EDIT: Went back and had their Chicken Salad and OMG! Love!!! It was so good. Definitely my favorite chicken salad in DFW. Pro tip: get it on a croissant
Their pulled pork is excellent too.

Check out this hidden secret in far North Dallas. I've never been disappointed here. From their daily specials like the chicken and dumplings on Thursdays to their varied salad selections everything is amply portioned and tastes great. The chili smothered baked potato and frito pie are also awesome.
Lunch is well attended, but I've never had to wait for a seat. Check out that desert counter. The millionaire cake is so rich it will make your teeth hurt.

I've only ordered to go from this location. Mostly soups and breads. Staff is always friendly and fast. You will get asked if anyone has helped you if you are standing alone and not being seated or handed a Togo bag.
I usually get the wild rice soup and a baguette to go, so there isn't much to review. I get this for lunch alot because it's always amazing and tasty. One of these days I will be able to sit down for lunch and each a full meal. The place always smells amazing.

I came here for lunch during the week with a friend and the place was packed. We were greeted with friendly smiles and very helpful staff. The ordering process is efficient. You place your order, grab a tray for your items and move along the line to pay.
I ordered a half chicken breast/provolone sandwich and a small salad. The sandwich was excellent! The chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. The salad was fresh, crisp and the perfect amount.
The dining areas provide plenty of seating, however, you might feel a bit crowded as the tables are close together
