ATR Welding

DON'T DESERVE NOT EVEN 1 STAR. Was told that they'd call me back, but they did not. Texted them and never replied back either.

I needed a company to fix a metal gate for a driveway which broke and fell. I called several local companies and chose ATR Welding for the project. They definitely deserve 5 stars for a great job, and here's the criteria I judged them on:

1. Communication - they understood that I needed to get this fixed ASAP and were able to go to the property same day and draft a quote. I liked how Lee clearly explained what needs to be done and how they plan to fix it. They continued to maintain good communication throughout.

2. Quality of work - the quality of work by Lee and Cesar was excellent. They

I dropped off my bike rack and all of the parts last Wed afternoon and it was ready the next day. The quality of work was good, timing was excellent and Lee was easy to work with. My bike rack is back to what it was, functional. Thanks Lee!

Superb communication, quality work and fast!

We needed a welder to fabricate a metal base for a live edge wood outdoor table. I spoke to a few in the area and was super happy to have found Lee. He made sure he knew what we wanted, continually provided updates during the process and turned out a great product that we're happy with. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. We used ATR Welding to fabricate new railings and to modify/modernize a couple of existing railings to match the new ones. Lee was very detailed oriented, responsive, and easy to work with. We had a design in mind and he offered advice and guidance to come up with a final railing design that we were very happy with, and the pricing was fair. During our consultation, everyone was wearing masks so I felt safe working with them during the pandemic.

He and his crew did a phenomenal job of modifying our existing railings by removing scroll details and adding horizontal bars. The new modifications

I had two cast aluminum patio chairs with broken leg supports that needed to be welded back in place. ATR was very responsive. I dropped the chairs off and they completed the work in one day. Excellent quality and price. Thanks ATR.

Lee was very prompt in responding to my request and fulfill the order to Build 2 Iron deck brackets to my specifications for a reasonable price. I will be using ATR Welding again. Decent prices, excellent quality work..... I will recommend them to others.

ATR exceeded my expectations!

We needed to bring our staircase railings up to code. Our rail and balusters are iron and the balusters were too far apart for today's code. I called a couple of local metalwork companies for quotes.

Lee replied to my initial email quickly and let me know what his availability was. We scheduled an appointment for a visit so he could give us a quote. In that visit, he explained the work they would do and what was needed to bring our railing up to code. He sent the quote via email that same day. His quote was a little less than the other metalwork company and

Man I love these guys. Where to start. I don't even know how to order them.

Customer service - A+ - They gave me a professional bid really quick. They would text me when they would arrive and were super personable. Also, in the end he walked through the job and made sure we were happy.

Work - we had a super complex rail job that needed to be replaced after a large tree fell on our house. They did a better job that the original railing. We had stainless steel and a lot of places would not even take us. I called like 12 places and only got three people who could do it.

Price - I got

Fantastic work done by ATR to fix our HOA's rusty stair posts!

As small HOA, we had difficulty finding a company that:
1) was willing to accept such a small order (16 units) AND
2) had the expertise to perform the job correctly. We received at least 3 other bids from other construction companies to just paint over the damage. ATR installed new cement bases and primed the rusty posts and now we feel ready for the rainy season!

Initially, we thought the quote was high, but after seeing how much work went into the repairs, it was well worth it.

I found myself in need of some help with updating my family's stair railings (our almost two year old was starting to find out that she could fit her head in the gaps!). Needless to say, I needed to find a welder to help make my railings safe.
Met with Lee at ATR and it was nice and easy! Great guy, quick conversation and very quick turnaround! He understood the importance of our children. I'll continue to recommend!

The ATR team is the best. I had an in-progress project where the original contractor was unable to complete the work after 3 months of delays and I was left with partially fabricated I-beams sitting at a shop in Oakland. I reached out to a number of welders via Yelp to help me out.
1) ATR was very responsive, called me back with a couple of hours. Everyone else replied via email and took a couple of days.
2) They made time the next day to meet me on site to look at the existing state of the project, discuss what I needed, and quickly let me know that they could do the job.
3) They had a quote

We had a tough welding job at our new restaurant and they made it look like piece of cake for them, very knowledgeable of what they do and genuine people, trustworthy and people i think i can depend on for my future needs in welding. Thank you guys!

Lee and his partner recently replaced a metal railing in my backyard. From beginning to end, Lee was a pleasure to deal with. He came out very soon after initial contact to look at the job and provide a very reasonable estimate. He answered all my questions and was able to accommodate my requests. The job was completed on time and very professionally. They removed the old, rusted out railing, and replaced it with a new one. We're very happy with the quality of his work.

I recently installed an aftermarket rear bumper on my LX450/LandCruiser. Unfortunately the studs for the spare broke loose and were spinning. This prevented me from removing my spare. I saw an ad for welding and Lee invited me to come to the shop so he can take a look.

Within 30 minutes I was in and out. He quickly assessed my needs, helped me remove the spare so he can tack the studs in place. His welds were consistant and even. You can tell he's been welding for years.

From start to finish, he is very professional and his work is top quality. I now have a local "go-to"

Lee was flexible with me in getting a quick welding job done on my bike. His service was great and very thorough with me on the process. Lee was also very responsive in getting back to me on the phone and was able to text him pictures of the job I needed done before heading over to his shop. I would definitely be keeping him in mind for more welding work in the future.

It isn't the Size of the Company, it's the Quality of Service!

I backed into our locked iron gate and bent the iron pin that held one half of the gate in place when it was closed and locked.

I didn't plan for this accident to happen, so of course it was inconvenient that we couldn't move our vehicles in or out of our secured driveway, we had not budgeted for emergency

I used ATR back in May to weld up some hitch accessories and Lee did a fantastic job. He has all the equipment, space and skills needed for pretty much any welding job. Prices were very reasonable too. Thanks Lee.

I went in to have some work on my motorcycle frame and Lee did an amazing job! He did exactly what I asked for and the welds look super clean. Lee was super friendly and I am for sure coming back to him for any future projects!

Lee was great... I called him for some fabrication work on a steelie rim. I called a few places... Said... It couldn't be done... Maybe??? Talk to Lee.. He picked up the rim Monday... Called me Wednesday, fabrication is done... He told me to pass by for fitment before welding the part to the rim..... I was thinking it will take another 3 days to finish the job. He says.... Do you have an hour?? Yes! I'll get it done so you can take it home today.... To make it short... It took 20 minutes.. The fabrication and welding is AWESOME!! Way... Way... BETTER than what i expect. Definitely "
