With limited funds for machines the idea of a woodworking business was born. As with many small businesses, DWR Custom Woodworking was started in his home basement. Dave started to design and produce a line of home interior accent items for designers and furniture stores. After about 12 years of providing high quality interior accents and shelving, DWR Custom Woodworking reinvented the product line in 1996 and introduced a new product, a line of quilt hanging products.Soon after, he discovered his first quilt show.

Stainless Steel and brass hardware are used in all applications to prevent rust and other corrosion from dropping on the quilt when displayed. Plated steel or plain carbon steel is used as hardware. Rust can easily form and drop on the quilt when displayed or if the quilt comes in contact with the hardware.

DWR Custom Woodworking offers the following standard stain colors, top-coated with a minimum of 2 coats of the highest quality urethane based clear-coat available. Quilt Displays are available in several solid colors: Black, Antique White and Bright White, Off-White.

The ladder arrived on Friday just as I was leaving for work. My husband put it together this afternoon and I am very pleased.
