My little puppers got sick and this awesome veterinary clinic took me in with a couple hours notice they were very nice their prices were pretty darn good and the doctors seemed to be genuinely interested in my dog getting better. I will definitely recommend them and will probably choose them over choose them over the clinic closest to my home. Although I have to say that the cat neutering fees are a lot here.

Health visit for 8 week old kitten. First time customer. Separate waiting room for cats. Staff were friendly. Dr. Landa was courteous, available to answer questions. Treated kitten tenderly. Explained suggested treatment plan and costs. I felt comfortable taking kitten there and he ventured out of his carrier on his own.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for Heartwood Animal Hospital. I had an emergency with one of my girls and they worked me in several days in a row to be able to manage it. Dr Landa was so wonderful throughout the entire situation. She listened to me, worked with me and was very thorough in explaining all test results and options. We moved to the area a couple of years ago and had been driving back into Raleigh to our old vet until we found Heartwood. So glad we did, highly recommended!

I absolutely love this vet. I took my girl Roxie to them and ended up having to put her down. But they let me come in and be with her during the process even though covid was at it's peak. They were very comforting and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye to my baby. They helped me when I had to pay for the visit. I didn't have quite enough to pay for everything and they made sure I was able to get my girls ashes returned to me even though I couldn't afford it

I needed to share my experience because it was one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had with a veterinarian. This is a long recommendation , so buckle up! I take care of a large colony of kitties outside… of my home, and one had a bad abscess that had ruptured due to a cat bite. I called around my local vets (my current one was closed due to Covid) and no one had any availability and I needed to get her seen ASAP. Heartwood said to bring her by and they’ll fit her in. They treated her abscess and gave her a 4 week long antibiotic injection. A month later I noticed another

My cat was attacked by a neighbors cat yesterday afternoon. When I brought him back inside after that, he hid. Today he wasn't eating or putting any weight on his back leg and obviously in pain. When I called my local vet in Louisburg I was offered an appointment on Friday (3 days from now)! Even though Heartwood had a surgical emergency, I was… told to bring Sox up and they would examine him and give me a call. Outcome was a puncture wound in his ankle, infection. Bless the doctor and staff for realizing the importance of getting Sox in and taking care of him. I pick him up tomorrow. Heartwood

I absolutely LOVE the people at Heartwood! Everyone is so sweet, understanding and just genuinely good! They take their time to answer any question I have and never seem impatient or make me feel dumb. Dr Murray is so down to earth and also super professional at the same time!! They are accommodating to the needs of my pets and my family. I’ve… never had anything but fantastic experiences with the whole team! People tell me they are expensive. I can’t really say because I don’t have tons of experience elsewhere, but they have been worth every dime I’ve spent.

I started going to Heartwood animal hospital when i got a new addition to my family, a german shepherd puppy. My first appointment went great. They were caring and seemed to be very thorough. Each appointment after that was disappointing. The next appointment i had with them they came to the waiting room and took my dog to the back (i didn’t know… why and was never told why) to do her exam. I also started noticing how dirty the exam rooms were, there was dirt and dog hair covering everything. I understand this is a vets office and lots of animals are seen, but it should also be a priority
