We love WFAH! We’ve been going there since we moved to NC 9 years ago. We’ve taken our 4 dogs there at different times to see Dr. Manning and Dr. Mullin and we feel both vets are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly care about our dogs. It’s comforting knowing our dogs are, and always have been, in excellent care.

If I could, I would give ZERO stars!!
As we are still trying to come to grips and cope with the loss of our beautiful Ali after having her for only 8.5 years, we are trying to look back if there were any signs/symptoms that we should have noticed...and made our regular vet at Wake Forest Animal Hospital aware of, but there were none. A terrible cancer had been there for a while with no symptoms.
Ali had surgery at WFAH on Thursday and died the next Tuesday 😢. The surgery at WFAH was minor with the removal of what appeared to be a just lipoma (we were told)on her left side...at this point we

I will start off by saying my previous encounters with WFAH with my previous dog was amazing. I had brought in my new dog (English Mastiff) for an emergency visit on 11/16/2021. Our appointment started with Dr Manning, he was pleasant at first until it came time for a fecal test. I explained my dog could become anxious but means no harm (requested… medicine for him prior to the appointment). Dr Manning requested we put a muzzle on our dog, he then became more anxious once the muzzle was on and was moving frantically in the room. Dr Manning tried to hold my dog still and started to scream

Critical: Professionalism
The actual medical staff are fine, but I've never encountered more rude and judgmental receptionists. I've been here several times, and every time, the receptionists have a nasty look or attitude to give you. This is also the only medical facility that doesn't require at least their employees to wear masks. Do better.

Best vet's office around Wake Forest, hands down! After we brought our new puppy home, we inquired in a social media group about vets that people liked in the area. Then we started calling around to narrow down our choices. The difference when we called WFAH was night and day. Sweetest lady answered the phone (Kim), very professional, but also friendly and pleasant and excited to meet our new fur baby. To be honest, she was the reason we chose this office. After taking our puppy for her first visit, we know we made the RIGHT CHOICE! Loved the doctor (Dr. Mullin), techs, receptionists - everything

I want to thank Dr. Craig for his kindness and compassion everyday, but especially on Friday. I texted him and said Lucy was not doing well and did he have time between surgeries to see her. Of course he said… yes to his Aunt Anne. He checked her vitals and confirmed my fears. While he and one of their awesome vet techs, Ashley prepared I said my goodbys. Dr. Craig, your family is so very proud of you and the doctor you have become! We are so fortunate to have you take care of our beloved pets at WFAH! You are the best!! Love you, Aunt Anne
