Holistic Medical Clinic of the Carolinas began offering holistic care in June of 1978 in Wilkesboro, under the direction of Dr. R. Ernest Cohn (retired from Holistic Medical Clinic), and has continued to grow as the need for holistic care grew.
Today the Holistic Medical Clinic of the Carolinas is a facility in the western part of North Carolina that is staffed with the "old-fashioned" caring non-allopathic practitioners and support staff like your family had available to them in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's, but with advantage of having available all the most modern technical examination, technology, and referrals to caring physicians (when appropriate).

I had an amazing experience at this facility. It’s a very unassuming building and environment but the knowledge I gained from Dr. Dominique was vast. She actually listens to what you tell her which in itself is rare. The treatments were actually customized, not trying to make me fit the standard treatments. The women working there were knowledgeable, committed and very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Dominique is THE BEST. She’s almost completely cleared up my headaches that I’ve had my whole life and helped make the sciatica I had while pregnant bearable. If I need an appointment right away, the staff are able to get me in either that day or the next. Everyone makes me feel welcome. Highly recommend this place.

I went here when I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. The Dr agreed I was positive for lyme and gave me suppliments. I also did some oil treatments on my own and still felt very very sick. I went back and saw his daughter whom looked at my bloodwork (because I was fearful I wasn't getting better) and said it looked better and yet I still felt like death. She was pushy about my anxiety and encouraged me to get on anxiety medication. Later I realized that why I was still sick was from the herx reaction from my treatment, as a physician treating Lyme this should have been mentioned instead of making

Dr. Cohn is a great doctor. He saved my life about 10 years ago. However, his admin now schedules $150 phone consultations when she knows that the person can't physically get to their practice and leaves it to the patient to find out during the $150 phone consult that they won't see anyone who can't physically come to the practice. Nice little scam she's got going on.
