Physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, we grow, and yet sometimes our growth feels paused by loss. As things change, we may experience it as though we are losing parts of ourselves, the way we used to do things, communities we belonged to, physical or cognitive abilities, and people we love.

I have been so lucky to take online classes with BoPo since quarantine began and they are literally the best yoga I've taken in my 15+ years of taking in person and online classes. They truly work with every person and make the class challenging throughout no matter your physical or mental situation. Most recently I've taken Jen Kraft's series for beginners and beyond and I was convinced I would not feel like I had had a physical work out after the class given I was taking it - and I was so wrong. Not only that, the time flew by, I learned new things, and Jen's way of speaking was enlightening

I am 14 years old and I loved Jen's class. She taught me the basics of yoga poses with so many "options". I stopped worrying if I was doing it "right" because Jen is so encouraging that there are lots of ways to do a pose - you want to do what feels good to you. I felt so grounded after taking the class.

Fondly called "BoPo" this studio has a charming and cozy atmosphere. Very welcoming to everyBODY! They believe and demonstrate that everyone can "do" yoga! It is so not about getting your body into a pose but making the pose fit your body....they have diverse classes, events and services for all including for those in recovery from process and substance dependence, trauma and eating disorders...ALL are welcome and encouraged to come and enjoy some self exploration and discovery. Jen & Melanie are warm and gracious proprietors.

I love the Yin/Yang class at BOPO! My body and mind just melts and unravels as Jen Kraft our instructor guides us into a deep a stretch and relaxation. The massage therapist I use at BOPO is amazing. I feel like she knows exactly what body needs and works on areas I didn’t even realize were in need of attention! The energy of the staff is warm, welcoming and healing❤️. It is truly a wonderful place!!

Body Positive Works is my happy place. The yoga classes are awesome,. Jen, Maria and Niki are kind and loving practitioners. Jill gives the most incredible massages. We have not even talked about their gift shop...if I need a thoughtful gift for a good friend, or myself, Body Positive Works is the gift shop I go to.

My engineering and business work often finds me sitting at my desk 10-12 hours per day. Although I run or bike regularly (almost daily), my 63-year old body often felt stiff. The Yoga classes at Body Positive Works have made a world of difference to my flexibility and overall sense of well-being. Given my age, I am a challenge to any Yoga teacher and thankfully the Bopo instructors have done a masterful job working with me - appreciate all the support from Stacey**2, Michelle, Maria, Jen, and others. Jen is a co-owner and one of the most authentic and sincere individuals you can work with. I would

I've been taking yoga classes for years yet taking Jen's class taught me so many new foundations for my practice. Jen embraces the differences in each of our bodies and is able to clearly explain how to make adjustments to get the most out of each movement (I have a whole new take on side angle and sphinx poses that feel so good for my body). Jen makes the class accessible to people of all levels at the same time (honestly, my mother, may daughter and I could take the same class and all benefit from it) but she can also tailor an individualized class to target a certain need. Jen is extremely humble

I was fortunate to find out about a yoga class on line with Jen Kraft thanks to my daughters. Being retired and a lot older than the other women in the class, I was scared to death. I had never actually taken a "real" yoga class. Jen made me feel comfortable (she made everyone comfortable) and I cannot tell you how much better I felt after every class. This was the best thing to happen to me during this pandemic. Thanks Jen!

This is one of the most beautiful and supportive atmospheres in terms of healing and yoga. I have been to many highly regarded studios in Manhattan and have been sorely disappointed. The classes, teachers, studio itself and the class offerings and private sessions are all so in sync with healing. One of my favorite classes is the one on Thursday evenings. It involves singing, chanting, yoga, dance, and is very spiritual and uplifting. I would recommend this class for all levels. Thank you for a wonderful healing oasis.

I have had an amazing summer participating in the many different styles of yoga classes on offer. All classes are accessible no matter your level. The space for the yoga classes is magical. These instructors take care of not only your physical but also your mental well-being. I cannot praise The Body Image Boutique highly enough.
