I have been shopping here for several times and have only great experience. The staffs are very kind and have good eyes to recommend items that would fit me. Great quality of clothes and accessories. A little pricey but not much difference compared to other stores. Overall a great place.

I don't often have the time to write a review but my visits to boc have been so wonderful, I wanted to give the store and the staff the raves they deserve.
I was so surprised by the previous negative review that I wondered if it was about the same store. I have gone to boc on multiple occasions and besides the great selection of clothing and designers, I have always appreciated the warm and knowledgeable help that I receive from the salespersons. Which is consistent, if I buy something or not.
I so very much appreciate having a store like boc in a neighborhood that is being overtaken by chain

For a neighborhood store , located in a wealthy enclave of the UWS - they sure know how to dissuade wealthy and regular people from returning.
The salesgirl is snooty, moody and has a ridiculously pretentious attitude like "I am great you are crap now spend money and get out "
Excuse me but if you are so great why are you a salesgirl and not the owner?
Much nicer stores in the area with better help and better ratio of quality:price!
By the way I once bought a sleeveless tee shirt there for $120 and it faded after one wash!
Go down the block and you have tons of stores with clothes that

The sales people are extremely unprofessional. I've been there several times. They make you wait a long time in the dressing room and always try to convince me to buy things I didn't ask for. Everything is very expensive. Items you can find anywhere else nearby for a reasonable price. There isn't anything in there worth the price. A waste of time!

As a freelance personal stylist I have the luxury of taking my clients anywhere in NYC. BOC has become one of my top boutique destinations. The staff is incredibly accommodating and knowledgable about the brands and inventory and have a great sense of style. Don't let the size of this place fool you. Although it may be small, their racks are filled with a great variety of designers, both established and emerging, locally and internationally. Their aesthetic is classic, simple and clean, yet I always find my clients pieces with just the perfect amount of modern flair. I'm particularly

I visited this store today based solely on the other Yelpers. It was worth it. They do have cute clothes and a few designer labels like Derek Lam. The young lady that helped me (I wish I got her name), was lovely. She was very personable and made great conversation. She suggested a few items to me and I appreciate that. I ended up with a cute sweater and a great pair of black denim pants.

All of the young ladies in there were super helpful. I told them that I was also looking for something to bring back home to my daughter and they suggested some stores for me as well. Thanks! I would

As a small business owner myself, I go out of my way to support the local little guy. Good thing this little local is owned by a warm, kind woman named Bo who has great taste, carries a wide range of price points, and is helpful without being a hard sell.
I appreciate that she has a minimal number of pieces in varying sizes (clearly based on budget decisions), and that strategy means she has a constant flow of new merchandise.

I wandered in by chance on one of those days when you no longer feel good about the clothes you put on that morning. Boc's selection is limited but chosen with great taste and care. there's a decent enough range in prices that not everything is out of reach. I bought a Gat Rimon blouse and Sundry pullover that I could easily wear every day and be happy. it's been a few weeks and I'm still thinking about a Giada Forte floral tissue-weight blouse that was exquisite but out of my budget. I'll be back, though. The very sweet owner, Bo, says she gets new items in every week

A nice boutique addition to the UWS. Yes, I know they used to be on Columbus but they seem so much closer now at their new location on Broadway. They carry J brand jeans and an array of dresses, pants, tops and some jewelry. And hanky panky undies. The person working said they get in new stuff a few times a week. Check it out!
