By checking "I agree", I, the CLIENT named above hereby Authorize the veterinarian to examine, prescribe for, and/or treat my pet(s) both listed above and unlisted. I understand that unforeseeable adverse reactions to treatments are a possibility and the veterinarian is not at fault. I assume full responsibility for all charges incurred for the care of this/these animal(s).
Our veterinarians believe that prevention is the key to your pet's long-term health. Pets age much faster than humans, so it's important to bring your pet in for an annual exam each year. The wellness exam is similar to the yearly physical you receive from your doctor. Our veterinarians will check the health of your pet from head to tail and will provide information and recommendations tailored to your pet's specific needs.
It is important that we see your cat on a regular basis for a variety of reasons. Even indoor cats can be exposed to infectious diseases and parasites like fleas. Behavior problems are easier to treat if they are addressed when they begin, not months or years later. It's important to know a cat's weight when he/she is healthy because weight loss is often the first sign of a problem.
The interpretation of dog behaviors and preferred training methods have evolved over the years. If your puppy or adult dog is exhibiting undesirable behaviors like anxiety or aggression it is best to seek the advice of a professional trainer or behaviorist. There are veterinary specialists who can provide behavior modification techniques as well as appropriate medications to make your dog more receptive to training.

I have always felt that my animals got a very high level of care from the professionals at Conestoga Animal Hospital. The doctors and technicians here have cared for family pets for my family for 20+ years. The rates for surgeries / boarding before or after surgery / medications are all in line with other practices' prices or below others' prices. This practice is reliable and offers evening hours several days/wk as well as Saturday mornings. I would be beyond upset were this practice to close. My fur babies mean so, so much to me. I truly trust the folks at this practice to give me good advice

A very nice facility! All pet owners were allowed in with their furry friends despite covid and maskd were not required. We took our rabbit in to be checked and the assistant and the vet were both really great at handling our BunBun and the vet was so knowledgeable and informative on rabbits and their care. It was obviously her passion. And their are not many vets in our area who deal with "pocket pets" or exotics.

0/10 experience would NOT recommend Dr. Farrar to a friend.
Recently had my mother bring our family dog here for excessive panting, muscle wasting & poor hair coat. Blood work was ran and my dog was sent back home. Dr. Farrar called later to let us know blood work was all normal, so my mother asked what could be going on with her then. Dr. Farrar was not aware of what she was talking about and let her know he didn't even see the dog. 1. What Veterinarian doesn't do a physical exam on a patient prior to ordering lab work? He requested we make another appointment so he can actually look at her then
