Reality Pilates Reformer
At Reality Pilates Reformer, we recognize and value human potential at all levels. Our highly adaptable program uses the Pilates Reformer, a method proven to stretch, strengthen and balance the body without stress and strain. Because the Reformer is suitable for everyone, our system offers a program that is individualized to suit your needs. I started with Reality Reformer thru the OJR extention course Plus Size Pilates.
Services
Beginner Cardio - These classes use the jumpboard and trampoline to gently increase cardio function in 1 to 3 minute intervals while helping strengthen joints in a protective non-painful way. Cardio Avanced Moves - The reformer is used with the jumpboard to vigorously increase heart rate with 5 to 10 minute intervals.
From personal experience, Reality Pilates Studio owner Dianna Ellis has discovered that the reformer, a sled-like piece of equipment that is used while sitting or lying down, offers a wonderful solution to the exercise needs of the plus-size or over 40 people. The reformer offers resistance training that does not stress the joints and helps lose inches.
Royersford has a piece of of fitness equipment that currently is only found around New York City. the CorePole. It's called the CorePole, but it works more than just your core! Designed like an old-fashioned May pole, it's a vertical pole with bands that pull from the center. The number of exercises you can do with the pole is endless, and so are the varying degrees of difficulty.

For some, the use of the Pilates Reformer may be a bit too strenuous. Those with arthritis, balance or walking problems, or those with larger bodies, have the right to have exercise tailored to their needs. This is where Chair Exercises come in to play. A regimen of chair exercises provides gentle stretching, toning, and general conditioning.
