Blanca is the Clinical Director at Aviva. She was born in Nicaragua and emigrated to the US at age 10. Her life's journey led her to pursue Psychology and a Masters of Science in Counseling. She has over 25 years of experience. She has specialized in Children's Mental Health and their varied needs and goals for therapy, as well as a variety of diagnoses among them.
She's also provided individual & group therapies to children as well as adults across a variety of settings. She has also worked as a Behavioral Health Assessor for Family Court cases of abuse and neglect and served as an expert witness in the same cases. She is currently licensed in the State of Florida (LMHC), The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (LPC) and the Commonwealth of Virginia (LPC).

If I could give zero stars it would be overrated. This place is a joke. If you respect yourself do not bother seeking employment at the Collingdale location. The hiring manager and the receptionist displayed serious negative energy. In order to be hired, you have to spend at least $100 prior to the first day of work for required documents (lesson learned). On the first day of work my daughter was so humiliated from their behavior within the first 15 minutes, she left that office. Waist of time and money. I raised my children to respect everyone regardless of their demeanor. RESPECT!!!!

As a former employee this is not a professional environment at all, would not recommend working or receiving services there. Pay is low, if you even get your check on time, and staff is overworked, the owner is quick to yell and snap at people and enjoys talking badly about employees behind their back. Clients files are discussed loudly for all to hear.

The five star comments are fake if you can tell. This place I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. This is my 2nd review from another account but just to let people know this place did not help me one bit. Skipped my appointments sometimes, failed to send out medications. Very unprofessional service. I got better on my own just by praying and doing the things I love. I thank god that I feel like myself again. Do not go here better off speaking to a relative or a close friend about what’s going on in your life.

Worst place to go to for help. The doctors calls you when she wants to. And if you miss a call don’t expect to hear from them for another week. Honestly not good if you’re on medication and want to talk to the doctor about lowering a dose or coming off safely, the doctor is really hard to get in contact with but they lie and tell you she’s never in when you call.

The staff at Aviva in Collindale is very helpful and professional but not Suzie, the director. It has been over 2 months since my insurance has been waiting for Suzie to complete a basic questionnaire for a prior authorization. After giving me the runaround for months, she finally sent the prior authorization today but it was incomplete. So back to chasing Suzie...
Suzie is a threat to the community and must be replaced as Aviva Mental Services' director. She is extremely incompetent and should NOT be in charge of delivering mental health services to the vulnerable among us.

Front desk staff was very nice although not always on the same page, the scheduling is done in a paper planner so confusion does happen. The therapist my son saw was friendly and seemed to care. Unfortunately the clinical director Susie is very rude, threatened my family with CPS as if that’s the only tool in her arsenal all because my son moved in with his dad in another state. The situation was already very delicate and being screamed at by “Susie” and threatened with CPS is just insane. This place really is ran by a woman who wants to kick a family when they’re down. I had the same experience with the clinical director that the other women who left a review did. Susie is rude and acts like CYS is at her beck and call, threatening to report struggling parents and families. How dare you!
She hardly speaks English but what you can understand is almost always condescending and rude.
I will be reporting her to the county BH system because you cannot feel safe or taken care of mentally in a place where a woman who speaks to people this way, works.

As an employee who previously worked for this company I would not suggest seeking employment opportunities there. I was paid on a inconsistent basis, due to their constant issues with pay roll. The owner showed little compassion regarding the inconvenience to their employees and still expected you to return to work each day without pay!

The worst place anyone could go for MH services. The office staff and psychologist and doctor are gems but the director is the worst human being that could possess a MSW. Degrading, talks all business is lobby area and has no respect for anyone. When told she would get reported she said i don't care because of her policies. Going to see how far up I can take this and possibly get this place closed down. No regard for human suffering and a very miserable director. A persons tone can be on a level 1 but the whole disrespectful attitude all the way to a 100. I don't tolerate disrespect on
