Whip City Music combines both in-house and outsourced services to help keep your instruments and other equipment in top condition and ready when you need them. Restring using strings of your choice, clean and oil fretboard, polish frets, adjust truss rod, set action, set intonation, clean and polish finish.

Doug is great and works with great techs and luthiers to provide the areas premier music shop experience. Always quick with a joke and a story, makes you feel like you are at a friend's house ready to start that long overdue garage band. Their prices are competitive and lessons are available for a range of instruments. I gladly pass up Guitar Center on my way to see them!

I'm not a music pro, but they've been very helpful in my journey towards learning guitar. Even if I'm trying to self teach, these guys are very nice and patient and willing to answer whatever questions I might have. They've even stayed late and worked with me on some pricing. Almost every piece of equipment that I have came from here.

Owner Doug Cotton aims to please- being a musician himself,he knows his stuff and can help out whether you are a budding musician or seasoned pro.
